The protesters in Iran opposing the conservative religious government in power seem to be doing quit well. Obama seems to have the right balance of support without giving the conservative government an excuse to accuse the protesters of treason and crush the movement.

Conservative like the words treason and socialist to demonize opposition.

Obama could score some political points by exploiting the sitiation in Iran as I'm sure Karl Rove would do, but it would do little for the progressives in Iran.

If your definition of doing quite well includes being murdered, I guess you are correct.

Obama is a coward that is letting people die in their quest for freedom without even offering token support in order to further his desire to conduct political polices with Iran's present government.

Your lame attempt to equate the present tyrannical government of Iran with conservatives in this country is not only stupid, it is insulting. If you have any decency left in your dried up liberal soul, you should feel ashamed.

I just finished listening to an interview with Steve Forbes. He, so far, is the best Republican out there as far as communicating Conservatism as Reagan did.
He has a sense of history and a sense of humor.

Warren Buffett admitted today that the economy is in shambles and that no recovery is in sight.
And, yet Democrats are dead set on passing their latest multi billion dollar cap and tax bill this week?
What kind of sense does that make?
CNBC reported:

In a live interview on CNBC underway now, Warren Buffett says there has been little progress over the past few months in the "economic war" being fought by the country. "We haven't got the economy moving yet."

While the economy is a "shambles" and likely to stay that way for some time, he remains optimistic there will eventually be a recovery over a period of years.

Buffett says the nation should concentrate on creating jobs.

Meanwhile... After Barack Obama signed into law new regulations on tobacco 500 Americans lost their jobs this week.

"After Barack Obama signed into law new regulations on tobacco 500 Americans lost their jobs this week."

Now here's a Rebublican priority trade lives and health fot Tobacco interest.

The Tobacco industry has targeted kids, added highly additive products to tobacco and Republicans want them to beable to continue with regulation?

Mr. POV,

I believe it are the conservatives and independents who always call for the aforementioned objectives. With leftist leaning organizations such as ACORN, as well a fringe groups like the Black Panthers, affecting the entire spectrum of fair and honest elected representation, it does seem that free minded conservatives and independents constitute a large majority of those in favor of change.

""Mr Obama made a mistake to say those things ... our question is why he fell into this trap and said things that previously (former U.S. President George W.) Bush used to say," the semi-official Fars News Agency quoted Ahmadinejad as saying.

Obama better get over there and apologize to Ahmadinejad. Actually another Muslim world apology tour is in order. The first one didn't take.

Reagan was a dumb bunny. Obama doesn't need to take notes.
