The sinking ship of liberalism.

It is encouraging that conservative Democrats are switching to Republican. Now we just need to get rid of the liberal Republicans so we can have a conservative party.

Liberals are on the run for the time being except the ones who don't need taxpayer money to stay in office. Bloomburg in NYC is one of these. He needs to be voted out during the next election due to his anti-American views on gun control.

This news reminds me of a debate we conservatives had among ourselves on this blog. I said the only Democrat who still calls himself/herself a Democrat is not fully conscious. Last election 25 out of the 54 Bluedogs went down to defeat.

I still think in the South, the only conservative Democrats are those who are hoarding their Confederate money believing the South shall rise again.

And I keep telling you, Blogger, that I know Democrats that make Jesse Helms look like Ted Kennedy.

With the Federal debt a deficit spending, Confederate money may be worth more than the US Dollar... soon.

Guy, can these Dems you speak of explain their abnormal behavior?
What do you think will happen when they come off their meds?

If ever there was an example of the word oxymoron, it would be conservative Democrat.

It is a family tradition thing, as far as I can tell, Blogger. That and some of them actually think they can do more good voting for weak candidate in the Democratic primaries.

I think you do them a disservice to insinuate they need meds as does Liberalproverbss18:2.

This is the flip side of the discussion I have had with my friend HD and you over voting for liberal Republicans as the lessor of two evils.

I will continue to support the most conservative person I can in any party or as a write in. As I have said before, if you are conservative, you will get my support. If not, you will not.

However, I do like the fact conservative Democrats are becoming Republican. Now if only we could lose the liberal Republicans. I might be able to support a party instead of being forced to continually research so many people.

Conservatives

I often accuse conservatives of reserving the word FREEDOM for political campaigns, slogans and bumper stickers but are seldom fans of the actual practice of freedom.

What do you conservative think of this new freedom in Egypt?

We will have to see if it ends up to be freedom or a military coup.

It looks to be a military coup in Egypt. Obama backed a military coup over an elected leader.
