The Watauga Board of County commissioners approved the funding for New River today. Vince Gable made the motion to allocate the funds as was proposed by Nathan Miller at yesterdays meeting of the new NR board.

Unanimously approved by the BOC.

It was good to see both the Repubs and Dems on the county commission work together and get this resolved. As far as I can determine, every vote on the topic was unanimous since the issue surfaced.
