VENT PAGE XXIX - . . . . Superfortress Version

Whenever the number of posts on a VENT PAGE make navigation cumbersome, a new VENT PAGE is started. This is number TWENTY-NINE in the series!

VENT PAGES are handy for posting of off-topic posts, rants, raves, rages, etc which might not be appropriate on other threads where adults are having serious discussions. Childish rant? Need to call another poster a name? Just feel like spouting off? Or even if you have something to say and there doesn't seem to be any other logical place to say it....THIS PAGE IS FOR YOU!

Fox news reported last night that at least forty members of the House are calling for Holder's dismissal over Fast and Furious.

http://www.mainjustice.com/2011/11/15/gop-house-members-call-on-holder-to-quit-or-be-fired/

Also, the House is voting on a bill for a nationwide concealed carry reciprocity law today. Those in either the House or the Senate that oppose this bill and Obama if he vetoes it, will suffer mightily in the 2012 elections.

The Harley-Davidson "FatBoy" name was picked as a combination of "Fat Man and Little Boy" (atomic bombs dropped on Japan) in the face of the Japanese flooding the US market with their Jap bikes.

NewGuy said...

"Little Man" somehow wouldn't have sounded as good! =o}

Well, we've done it. Our debt is now officially more than 15,000,000,000,000.00.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/its-official-total-us-debt-passes-15-trillion

That's about $50,000.00 per man, woman and child in the US.

OWS morons better get a job and start paying taxes to pay this off.

guy faulkes said...

Wolf, be realistic This is not possible. Would you hire them? Most of them are going to end up in a state or federal prison due to their violent actions.

Wolf's Head said...

Yes, sad but true. Those societal parasites in the OWS movement are worthless.

But we are still on the hook as a country for 15 trillion dollars, and only a fraction of our population are actual wealth producers, so the $50,000 per person is probably $150,000 to $200,000 per actual tax paying worker.

That is why I am convinced there is no way to prevent an economic collapse.

I recieved this in an email. I will be contacting Washington.

CONGRESSIONAL ACTION ALERT

SCI Members:

Tomorrow, November 17th, the House Committee on Natural Resources will be voting on
H.R 2834, the Recreational Fishing and Hunting Heritage Opportunities Act! This
vital piece of legislation would require fishing, hunting and recreational shooting
to be included in all federal land planning documents and would fix numerous
inconsistencies in federal law that could threaten hunting in the future. This bill
has the strong support of SCI and millions of sportsmen across the country. SCI
needs your help to get this bill signed into law.

This bill is even more vital in light of the recent push by the administration to
remove sportsmen from public land! The administration is trying to close millions of
acres of public lands to recreational shooters and this would likely reduce public
land hunting opportunities throughout the west.

U.S. News article: "Obama Pushes Shooters Off Public Lands"
Please contact your congressman to urge them to support this bipartisan sportsmen's
bill!

9-9-9.

Between Obama's buddies not paying any taxes or getting millions in loans or grants they don't have to pay back, he should have the Treasury completely looted and then some by the end of his term.

NewGuy said...

The house today will debate a balanced budget amendment .....it will never pass the senate because democrats would not be able to give away money that they didnt have with an amendment like this!

guy faulkes said...

New Guy, you are 199% correct again. When the money for bread and circuses is gone, the liberals will be out of power.

This is going to happen either because we act like adults and fix government spending, or we will go broke and it will fix itself.

The bill for bill for a nationwide concealed carry reciprocity law passed the House.

Don't you all remember? Dick Cheney told us " Reagan proved deficits don't matter".

Sarkazein said...

Brushfire- Obama has given NEW meaning to the word deficit. You may have noticed, most are now talking about the national debt.

15,000 BILLION DOLLARS!

Larry Elder spanks Chris Matthews

Mike D. said...

Sark,

What did you think of the O'Donnell/Cain hatchet job interview?

To me, your victorious celebration over the Elder/Matthews hatchet job is exactly the same as a partisan Democrat celebrating the O'Donnell/Cain hatchet job. It's not about who is right and wrong. It's about what is right and wrong. It's about civility, decency, and honor. Elder's lack of class was just as bad as O'Donnell's. But then, I wouldn't expect you to understand this, given the "Republican good, Democrat bad" paradigm which traps your reasoning. How could you possibly be expected to understand the concept of treating everyone with respect when you believe that only Republicans deserve respect? It's perfectly fine to act without decency or honor, so long as your target is a Democrat, right?

Sarkazein said...

WOW Jack- HOW are those two things even similar? Are they similar to you because they are both available on-line?

Sarkazein said...

Sorry MikeD I always confuse you with Jack.

Sarkazein said...

MikeD- These are two different subjects entirely? You are just trying to squish them into your own middle-of-the-road mold.

Sarkazein said...

MikeD- I am changing your screen name to "Rodney King".

Mike D. said...

Sark,

Two things can be similar in more than one way. For instance, while it is true that the subject of two interviews may be similar, it is also possible that the style of two interviews may be similar. Your inability to understand this just brings us back to your "all things Republican good, all things Democrat bad" program. It must make life so simple for you, to be able to plug any experience into that simple two-chute sorter and get an instant answer for everything! I envy you.

Sarkazein said...

Rodney King- This is a fight for the survival of my country. This is not politics as usual. I am fighting fundamental change, not Democrat vs Republican.
The Party thing is all in your mind. If there was a viable candidate from another Party, with strong libertarian/conservative/US Constitutional principles, I'd be supporting him/her.
It is YOU wanting to see everything from a political Party eye. Being in the middle-of-the-road gives you a false sense of knowing exactly what is right and what is wrong.... a fear of commitment disguised by a false sense of mental superiority.
Take a stand... commit to the future of this country. Wobbly is not a good thing.

Mike D. said...

"Take a stand... commit to the future of this country. Wobbly is not a good thing." - Sark

I find it strange that you don't seem to recognize different political and economic realities during different periods call for different policies and measures. This is not "wobbly". It's thoughtfully adaptive.

I would hate to have you as my surgeon!

Sarkazein said...

"It's thoughtfully adaptive."- MikeD.

You must mean-- you are bending-over and "adapting" to fundamental change.

"I find it strange that you don't seem to recognize different political and economic realities during different periods call for different policies and measures. This is not "wobbly". It's thoughtfully adaptive."-MikeD

Probably one of the most wobbly paragraphs ever written.

Sarkazein said...

MikeD- Off the subject. Watch the last episode of "Hairy Bikers". They were in North Caroline, in the mountains. They visited one guy who was an expert on road kill dining and another expert on foraging mushrooms. Both were locals.

Here is a link to a letter by Ann Barnhardt about shutting down her brokerage.

She lays it out very clearly what kind of trouble we are in, and this letter has been read by Limbaugh on his program and is making the internet rounds at light speed.

Read it and realize we have no law.

I understand that both Virginia Foxx and Johnathon Jordan made some very insightful remarks at the graduation ceremony for a class on the Constitution. Does anyone know anything about what was said or about the class? Will there be another one?

Terribly sorry for the multiple posts. For some reason my posts either didn't show up or seemed to be deleted.

Worst of it is it makes me look like LPOV!

NewGuy said...

Wolf...my fault. I found your two posts in the "spam" box so I moved them to "publish"....

No worries..you don't look like POV until you post the same thing 20 or more times!

guy faulkes said...

No Wolf, you do not look like LPOV. The only time I ever saw you with drool running down your chin as when we went to that pulled pork barbecue place.

The epitome of "Blame Bush Syndrome" has been reached. The failure of the Super Committee is now being blamed on President Bush.

Okay, watched the debate. So far, I like Newt. Unless he does something I can't support, I think I'm going with him. I like all of them, agree with most of them, a few I don't. Remind me of this if I change my mind. I'm ready to support someone, who has ideas of how to fix the country I love.
