Sorry to see it. This really makes it hard for a Republican victory over Obama. No Republican can ever have howled at the moon or had an impure politically non-conservative thought. I guess the Conservatives are the Utopians of political candidates.

Sark, if Cain or Gringrich can't be faithful to their wives, how in the world will they be faithful to people they don't know? I want someone with morals, honesty, strength and most of all, wise. I'd really love to have a president who loves America, like the majority and would fight to keep us protected. I want a person who will be respected by other countries and make a difference in people's lives.

That's what I want, Sark. Cain was a good business man...but couldn't be faithful to his wife. It doesn't make me angry, just bad that people can be easily deceived. In the end, it's the person's fault who messes things up for himself. We like Cain. He just lost a lot respect from people. Things happen for a reason. I have faith that the right person will come along.

Reader- I agree with all your desires for those traits in a President. My point is, the Democrats only need to know their candidate will support the killing of pre-born babies and believes that property should be taken from the successful and given to the less successful.
Our side ends up with people not voting for someone with once impure conservative thoughts, thus allowing the likes of Clinton and Obama to become President.
Clinton over Bush 1, a man with all the traits you mentioned, as some voted for Perot and then Clinton over Dole, also a man with most of the traits you mentioned. Clinton with none of those traits. McCain had most of the traits you mentioned but was beaten by Obama who never cheated on Michele (with another woman) but is destroying America' fundamentals.
This is not politics as usual, Obama needs to be defeated. Those thinking they can live in a collapsed society in Obama's second term are going to find out anarchy is no picnic for there parents, kids, wives or girlfriends. Whoever shows the best chance of beating Obama has my vote. This time I don't care if he cheated on his girlfriend and his wife. I don't care if he wasn't a hardcore Second Amendmenter sometime in his past. I don't care if he has great hair, I will vote for the person who has the closest to a conservative mindset and can beat Obama. I will not surrender to the Left and say " Obama/Romney one in the same". They are not... not even close. I will support the Republican nominee whoever it is.
The Third Partyer's sat on their butts too long and probably will not make even a showing. I would even vote for Paul if he wins the Primary.

I get it Sark. I understand. I guess what I want is too much to ask for in a candidate. Like you, I will vote for the nominee.

I will ot if it is Romney. As a matter of fact, others feel this way as young man was getting signatures on a petition to allow Paul to run as a third party candidate in 2912 at the mall Saturday.

He was not an Obama supporter, considering the spiel he was spouting for Paul.
