Obamacare Now to be Known as Obamatax

Five Major Obamatax Taxes

Not that I am defending this at all....But that makes it sound like this health care law removes the "Bush Tax Cuts", but I don't think it does. I think this specific bill "only" adds a 3.8% tax increase to "investment income". The health care bill is not the reason taxes on dividends may go up some 300 odd percent or the other "taxmaggedon" fiscal cliff numbers that lay ahead at the end of the year.

What I can't figure out is this...doesn't this end up being a large "tax" mostly on the lower class? I would argue that a majority of the middle class has health insurance already, so the individual mandate doesn't really affect them. Also, the expansion of medicare/medicaid was struck down, so it doesn't seem like the middle class will be paying any more for the uninsured/under-insured than they were before.

There is no huge expansion in medicare, no huge expansion in taxpayer's liability, but only a 'forced' tax on those who do not have health insurance, which I would think is mainly the poor....

where am I wrong here?

It is a large tax on low income people who can't afford health insurance. But that will not stand. Their (the poor) insurance will be paid for by the middle class either through medicaid or some other scam. As usual the poor get screwed when the government "helps" them.
75% of the cost of Obamacaretax will be paid by those making $125,000 or less. All the other taxes, 22 or so, will be paid by everyone through higher costs.
