We all knew this would happen. The question is if the Senate will ratify it.

One world government. What does it take to wake this country up? Wasn't this prophesized somewhere?

Another tool to divide the country. It doesn't matter the criminal act of Fast & Furious didn't provide the public outcry for more gun control... do it anyway. Have another drink Hillary and sneak the Treaty through without public support. Can't get a budget through Reed's Senate, but plenty of time for world gun control.

MikeD- Can you go either way on this one?

So Constitutional Rights and God aren't important? What does the all knowing liberal socialist sheep pov (notice lower case) think they need to post? A broken record line of speech that say the same thing and nothing at the same time (you)? LOL!! What a babbling idiot.

A treaty requires 2/3 vote in the Senate. If THIS TREATY were to pass, the government has made null and void the US Constitution. Soros and Obama and the UN will have ended the United States in an almost bloodless revolution. Almost bloodless because you cannot forget Fast & Furious.

The sad fact is there are several Republitards who may vote for it. These include Murkowski, Snowe, McCain, Lugar and several others.

We are not out of the woods on this one. The fact it is even an issue shows how far to the left this country really is. If hussein obama goes into office again, you can expect many Constitutional Rights to be gone.

Do you all just repeat everything that Morris and his ilk say? If so, you're missing out on the truth. This is BS.

Wow Look at your date for Snopes. It is 2010. The treaty is to be signed two weeks from now. Then during the lame duck session, there will be a number of Democrats who will be gong home for good. In their resentment for being fired, there is nothing to keep them from helping Obama is his ongoing move toward the country's destruction.

WOW- If you read your own Snopes link you will read that it is false that the US has already signed a treaty.

The comments here are about the pending treaty.

Wow....scroll down you might find that it was last updated 9 July 2012. You have to go further than the email that was collected and that just shows that some things like to be recirculated.

Try reading this too: Green, Sedgwick W. (1958). "The Treaty Making Power and the Extraterritorial Effect of the Constitution: Reid v. Covert and the Girard". Minnesota Law Review 42: 825.

WOW- Are you thinking that there is no treaty (UN) the Senate will be voting on, or you just OK with whatever they do?

Sarkazein said...

WOW- Are you thinking nothing has changed since 1957?

Wow..... said...

The Constitution supercedes what they may or may not try to do.

Depending on the current mood of the Supreme Court.

WOW- The 2nd Amendment has been around for quite a while now. Up until the early 1900's, there were no restrictions on arms. You could buy a Thompson full-auto after WW1. A boy could order a rifle from a magazine. These rights look different now than they did in 1920 and by the time the hippy generation gained power, it became a different world.
To sit back and write there is nothing to worry about because of a 1958 law, is ignoring history.

The Supreme Court's job is to look at constiutionality. The 2nd Amendment is pretty explicit in what it says. The UN also has really no power. They're mainly a spotlight org as it is.

Sarkazein said...

If the 2nd is SOOO "explicit in what it (the 2nd) says" then why was the Court split right down Party lines on the meaning of the 2nd......recently. Why for decades have college professors said only well regulated militia can bare arms?
Where have you been?

Sarkazein said...

What will happen when apathetic voters stay home with their hallucinating visions of SUPER CONSERVATIVE and allow an anti-2nd Amendment Marxist President to appoint at least TWO more deciders?

Sarkazein said...

If Mitt picks Pawlenty as VP, I may join the apathetic hallucinators.

In the long run, the Second Amendment and our other freedoms may be decided by the same thing that did it the first time. That would be the cartridge box, not the ballot box or the jury box.
