Regarding the School Children Shooting: Pop Sociologist and Anti-gun Advocates Please Take a Step Back
The killing in Connecticut is a horror beyond imagination. However, before the pop sociaologists as well as the anti-gun people start to bloviate, they might want to read about the attack on almost the same number of children in China today. Theirs is an entirely different culture and this man demonstrated you did not need a gun to reek havoc on children. He wielded a knife. Chidren attacked in China

They're dangerous people, not dangerous weapons.

More guns is the answer. If teachers and students had guns, the shooter would have been neutralized early. The bus drivers could have shot him in the parking lot.
Actually, the second Anonymous is more correct than than he knows with what I expect he meant to be a sarcastic post. Any teacher, bus driver, or parent that has a concealed carry permit should be encouraged to carry at schools to keep it from being a safe crime area for criminals. College students with CCW permits should, of course, be allowed to carry just as they can across the street from campus.
The irony of the troll's post is that he was almost correct. All he had to do was leave children out of the comment.
This is long but you need to listen to it.

Let's not forget the 3,000 babies killed every day by Planned Parenthood and their frinds.
The issues involved here are more than just guns. We have an issue of mental health, over stressed society, over medication or failure to take medication, Domestic violence. Highly efficient killing machines easily available to mentally unstable individuals is a problem that needs to be address. The first red flag for mental health should be when an individual wants to buy one of these weapons with a 30 or 100 round clip and large quantities of ammo. Sane citizens don't need such an arsenal of killing devices. One suggestion would be to require all owners of such weapons to carry insurance and be responsible for the use of the weapon if found negligent in securing such a weapon from children or mentally ill family members.
"Let's not forget the 3,000 babies killed every day by Planned Parenthood" 1,000,000 per year?? Bullshit. Prove that number.
It is LONG past time that we oppose and eliminate "Gun Free Zones" from America. Any politician or bureaucrat who mandates that citizens dis-arm to enter anywhere must be voted out of office or fired.
So, what do we do instead? Notice the photo in this article:

It makes a pretty good point to compare the 20 children killed by this crazed individual with the thousands murdered by abortion If the topic was the murder of children instead of the left using a tragedy for political purposes, then where would be the more effective place to start to save children;s lives.
Of course the fact the left defends one type of murder is on topic.
Wolf, my daughter indicates this photo has gone viral on facebook.
I do not think Blogger envisioned the lenght our liberal fiend are going to in their comments and responses.

I don't necessarily agree with armed teachers. At least it should not be a requirement to become a teacher. The practical problem I think is firearm safety. Keeping firearms attended by an adult at all times may be difficult if teachers all have to carry them.
I agree the root cause is mental health and social pressure. In China the incident had less casualty because they learned from an earlier tragedy and mandate security guards at schools for rapid response to such situations.
Death penalty is not murder.
Indeed the death penalty is not murder. It is a sentence handled down by a court after a trial. It is at one end of the scale just as a fine for jaywalking is at the other.
Where has it been mentioned in this discussion and what is its relevance? Are yous saying those that wish to murder members of the NRA have the right to do so? How about those that are equally crazy and wish to bomb abortion clinics for committing legal murders? Do they have the same rights? Is it possible both do not have the right to go outside the rule of law, but also both have the right to promote their political beliefs in a legal manner?
most of you wont watch this and those who do are already opposed to abortion. Too bad! Right to choose people would benefit from watching.

True, crazy people who wish to do damage to the innocent are everywhere.
But in the China attack, NO ONE died. In the US attack, 27 people died.
The difference was the choice of weapon. The Chinese guy had no guns. The US guy had three, all from his mom.
This comparison is the perfect argument for more gun control, or maybe just ammunition control.
Or it could be used as an argument to oppose public schools.
How about the incident where a member of a school board killed 38 kids with a bomb, the U.S, government killing kids at Waco with tanks, or the unknown number of children killed because of Fast and Furious which was created to provide news such as this for you people to exploit? How about the thousands of children killed by abortion. your logic says it should be eliminated.
Bombs. Illegal.
Tanks. Illegal.
Abortion. Horrible. But does not kill thousands of children. Kills HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of fetuses.
Guns. Perfectly legal and the leading cause of preventable death among young people.
Who, exactly, needs a semi-automatic rifle with a 30 round magazine? And for what?
And does having it stop the government from using their tanks to kill you? (ask the folks at Waco).
"Who, exactly, needs a semi-automatic rifle with a 30 round magazine? And for what?" Anonymous
Every free man does. It's what allows you to be free to spout your spurious and moronic diatribes.
A fetus is a child, just as is an infant, a toddler, a preteen, and a teenager.
Do not forget the free women, Wolf. I.e. your daughter and mine. ( I know what you meant , but I couldn't resist.)
Some of the hundreds of semi-automatic weapons Obama sold to the Mexican drug cartels in Fast & Furious are said to have found their way to the Eastern Seaboard.
Anon - first of all Planned parenthood does not kill babies - that is illegal - they perform abortions on fetuses. So when gay marriage was opposed (despite the refusal to allow it to be unconstitutional), the rallying cry was - "the people have spoken" and proponents should get over it. What if a majority of people vote in favor of some gun control legislation? Would the response be "the people have spoken" and it be accepted as readily? What is the difference? Ironic thing here is that I believe any gun control legislation is just as unconstitutional as prohibiting gay marriage.
HM- The US Constitution supersedes the people speaking.... unless they muster enough states and people to amend the Constitution. Then, to change the Bill of Rights is to start all over because those rights are inalienable. The People already spoke.
HM- Which one of the Amendments do you think speak to gay marriage?
Woap! The polls have changed, change the law.
HM- Again I ask-- If a woman has a miscarriage, did she lose her fetus or did she lose her baby? If you don't know, just ask her.
OVER 3,000 BABIES KILLED EVERY DAY by abortionists in the USA.
Anon, This is a very simple matter of a belief system and whether or not it is right to force your beliefs on others. Abortions kill fetuses - not babies. Sark, yes a woman in grief will remorse the loss of her "expected" child. Some people believe that a fetus is not a child until it is born and lives through that birth. Birth is real thing that has real meaning legally and naturally. Mother nature does not take all fetuses completely through the birth process for specific genetic reasons. If a child survives the birth process, it is given a name, a birth certificate and a social security number - not when it is a fetus. So for those that believe life begins at birth - abortion is not murder. The questions is should someone else be able to force their beliefs on others by making abortion illegal? If you believe abortion is murder - don't get an abortion. But don't force someone else to live by your beliefs. The same applies to gay marriage. How is it ever right to force beliefs? If you don't believe in guns - don't get a gun - don't force everyone else to give up theirs - same principle is it not?
A fetus is a baby. If you kill a pregnant woman, you will be charged with 2 counts of murder. It should be the same with abortion. Abortion is legalized murder that most people think should be outlawed.
If you don't believe in guns - don't get a gun - don't force everyone else to give up theirs - same principle is it not?
No. Owning a gun has nothing to do with murdering someone, even if you use a gun. You could have just as easily used a a knife or a golf club.
Abortion is another name for murder in the majority of cases. If the mothers life is in danger, it is justifiable homicide.
Again HM- A woman who miscarries calls it the loss of her baby, not her "expected child". Most have a funeral service for the baby who they do name. Many pick names for a baby even before they are conceived. I am not forcing my belief on you. Ask a woman who had a miscarriage... she will tell you she lost her baby. Are you going to tell her?- "Well, that's your belief, don't try and force it on me!"
Actually anon the majority of those polled support keeping Roe vs. Wade and keeping abortion legal. I guess the people have spoken?
No pre-borns in that poll I'll bet.
If preborns were able to answer a poll, the law and majority opinion might be different. This brings up the question - does a majority opinion mean the minority opinion is wrong? Or should we develop laws that allow everyone to live by their own opinion - so there is no global right or wrong - just personal right or wrong?
HM wrote-"If preborns were able to answer a poll....,"
Either is a 1 year old or some severely handicapped persons... the most innocent among us.
You are a liberal, you are most of the way there.
"This brings up the question - does a majority opinion mean the minority opinion is wrong?"
It did as to what is legal as far as Roe vs. Wade was concerned. It took yeas for people to come to their senses.
It is interesting that you mention global right and wrong. Are you referring to a new wold order? Do you favor U.N.control over U.S. sovereignty?
BABY KILLERS justify their actions by insisting it isnt a real person. Sort of the way segregationists used to do with blacks.
Killing a baby inside the womb is not morally any more justified than to kill it after expelling it into the outside world.
