Feds delay Boone water intake project

Thanks to regular reader/poster  Guy Faulkes for bringing this article from Watauga Democrat to our attention.
It really is time for the voters in Boone to take a good hard look at the kind of "planning" and representation their current leadership is providing. How much is being spent on trying to force projects like this through? How many taxpayer dollars are going to fight Phil Templeton's construction of a medical office complex on a lot properly zoned for this purpose? How much has the town cost developers and business people in the delays and bureaucratic obstructions placed in their way by fumbling "central planners"????
Wake up Boone voters!
