I disagree Blogger. Behaving like a bunch of Democrats is not the answer.

I disagree New Guy. When a fascist coup is happening, only radical reactions make sense. Reid is trying to overturn 225 years of Senate history. The only obvious reaction is for legislators to pitch a hissy fit and show they mean it. Perhaps if in history, legislators had stood up against Hitler in the beginning and all the other fascist takeovers, history would have been a lot different.

News reports say today that when Reid pulled off his fascist coup, "Republicans were fuming." I'll bet. Has anyone ever seen a whoosy Republican do anything but crybabying while Reid eats their lunch right in front of them? Why couldn't they at least throw some things around in the Senate Chamber. Let someone know that what happened today mattered. Grr.

I'm always interested in how different media portrays things. FoxNews.com had a large banner headline: "Raw Power Grab." CNN.com didn't have this as a headline -- it was about 4 or 5 news items down under "Latest News." Their headline was on 3 women rescued in Britain. One day there will be a Republican majority in the Senate and a Republican President. This will be a big deal to democrats and CNN then, but they'll make it out to be a Republican abuse and conveniently leave out that Dems first did this. What's interesting is that 3 Dems voted with the Republicans opposing this move.
