Dick Morris on Winners of Debate.

GOP Debate Winners: Trump, Cruz, Huckabee, Christie; Losers 'Fox News'  SAYS Dick Morris

• The winners were Trump, Cruz, Huckabee, and Christie.
• The losers were Bush, Walker and Rubio.
• No change in Paul or Carson.
• Kasich did well because he showed up.
THE OTHER BIG LOSER WAS FOX.
Their anti-Trump bias was obvious. The questions were way too negative and often too personal.

I wouldn't put any stock in Morris' evaluations. He is consistently wrong. The consensus on cable news and Real Clear Politics is that Rubio was among the winners along with Christie. That was my call, too. Opinions vary re Trump's performance. I think it will hurt him in the long run, but others disagree. Apparently his die hard supporters are oblivious to his lack of substantive answers.

Morris is like a blind pig. He might find an occasional acorn but, for the most part, he gets everything wrong.
I agree with Retro. Huckabee looked good; Christie ran over Paul; Walker did OK; Bush lost a little ground and Megan Kelly showed her bias.
And Rosey Odonnell really is a big fat pig.

I would give it to Dr Ben Carson and Rubio. Christie did well also.
I was surprised that I watched it all the way through. I liked them all. Paul seemed to have gotten a tad rattled and Walker was not memorable.
So far, any of those ten would be better than Biden or Clinton. OMalley seems to be their only chance right now. Too bad they fear displaying their candidates.

By all accounts FOX won the night breaking all records.

Megan Kelley reminded people that women are not as good in business as men by the question she asked Trump.

.I'm progressive who stopped by here to see what y'all thought of the debate, and I'm interested to see that I actually agree with most of you! I was kind of shocked (though I'm not sure why) at how biased the entire thing was, and while I don't like Trump, the whole debate seemed to exist solely for the purpose of helping mainstream republicans get rid of the inconvenience of his popularity. Megan Kelley should really have just come out and said, "Mr. Trump, why are you a big jerk?" and been done with it.

Didn't watch the debate, but Meghan Kelly is a babe.

Here's a candidate I'm starting to think about more -- wish she had been in the main debate - most people think she won the earlier debate among the candidates that didn't place in the "Top 10 Name Recognition Debate." What does everyone think?

Nobody- I watched the first debate too. I liked her also. But according to Megan Kelley, woman can not be called names by men. This makes them different in handling what other national leaders and foreign leaders and the press might say. What Megan was saying, is there is a double standard that must be adhered to for political correctness.

Sarkazein said...

A great ticket would be Dr Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina. With them in power, no one would be allowed to disagree with their policies. If the press didn't like Fiorina they would be sexists and if they didn't like a President Carson they would be racist bigots. I think I have my ticket. A silent left wing mainstream media for 4 to 8 years not even including the campaign.

I agree that the Fox News panel did a poor job of asking questions. There were too many "gotcha" questions and way too much focus on social issues. For instance, I would have loved to hear Rubio and Bush talk about Obama's normalization of relations with Cuba. And hear Walker and Kasich discuss the climate change hoax and what they think of Obama's energy policies and EPA's regulations to inhibit fossil fuel use.

Megan Kelly should be banned from participating in future debates. She is pretty good as a political commentator on her own show, but way too biased to be an objector questioner.

The debate showed that John Kasich is blatanly seeking RINO support. Conservatives should join forces to ensure he doesn't get on the 2016 ticket.

Sark,
I wish it would work that way, but we know the truth. To a liberal, a conservative African-American isn't a "real" African-American, so you can say whatever you want about them (i.e., Clarence Thomas). A conservative woman isn't a "real" woman, so you can say whatever you want about them, too (i.e., Sarah Palin). There is no racism or sexism when those attitudes are directed at conservative minorities and women. To be a true victim, worthy of governmental protection against sexism and racism, you have to be a liberal. Oh, and being atheistic and hostile to religion helps too, because Christians are not deserving of any protections, either.

Morris about Fox

Sarkazein said...

TRUMP at the Roxbury

Morris has a point about the Fox News commentators wanting to enhance their reputations with the MSM. They showed they'd rather put themselves in the limelight than eliciting substantive information from the candidates. But I disagree with Morris that Kelly would go soft on Hillary. Kelly is an outspoken political commentator who wears her opinion on her sleeve and she would probably be tougher on Hillary than she was on Trump. But in either case, she shouldn't be selected to participate in any further debates.

And one has to take Morris' criticism of FOX with a grain of salt. FOX may have cut its ties with Morris. I haven't seen him on FNC for quite some time now.

BUSH CLINTON PEROT JR.

Trump, in an interview with Hannity, listed a bunch of known big time Democrat supporters he would appoint if he were to become President. Are these his fellow Democrats who have finally seen the light?

The real losers are the Republican Party as 25% of the base would be willing to elect a billionaires, who inherited the wealth he didn't steal through bankruptcy, gambling and intimidation from hard working Americans.

The man is a con artist with no solutions who will go after the people he's thinks are foolish enough to vote for him as well as those who don't.

This will be fun to watch.

Maybe a President Trump ( the billionaires) will commute Hillary's prison sentence for her federal crimes regarding her Secretary of State tenure.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are rumored to be paying $100,000 to rent a vacation home in the Hamptons later this month, the New York Post reported Thursday night.

The whopping $100,000 price tag is nearly double the median household income, according to the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau which puts it at $53,000.

Clinton’s decision to rent the luxury home comes as she tries to portray herself as the best candidate to fight for the middle class.

So what. What does Trump (or any other oligarch supported republican candidate) spend on vacation? How does this compare to the median household income? You seem to be a bit one-sided with your jealousy, dear sir.

Sarkazein said...

RileyMartin- So what? you ask. Read the third paragraph of the article and as you do keep in mind Hillary's poll numbers dropping like a stone.
"Jealous" you ask. Live my life off government largess and tax deductible donations in exchange for political access and favors...

Trump is proud of his expensive lifestyle. He doesn't poor-mouth from the back of his limo. If you can't see the difference, I can't help you.

Riley Martin said...

My good man, please continue to support with full-throat the candidacy and marvel that is Donald Trump. Thank the heavens that The Donald's poll numbers keep rising against an impotent field of handpicked GOP allstars.

If it takes 3 paragraphs to besmirch Mrs Clinton, then the Blaze has a slow "news" day.

Sarkazein said...

RileyMartin you wrote- "If it takes 3 paragraphs to besmirch..." True if that's the only news you've read today.

I have not expressed "support" for Trump's candidacy (SP).

Sarkazein said...

RileyMartin- Here is some more slow news for you from the "dead broke" Clintons who couldn't speak the truth even when the truth sounded better..... CLICK HERE

Riley Martin said...

My dear Sarkazien, as a republican, shouldn't you applaud and cherish the success that hard working Americans, such as the Clinton's, have achieved?
