You owe it to yourself to stop shopping the extreme right wing propaganda sites. Have you ever heard of the Baby Boomers? Baby Boomers are retiring, and young families are not having as many children or having children as soon. Blogger this is a demographic issue the started after World War II before President Obama was born. The solution to this demographic problem in immigration reform. Stop posing garbage to misinform your readers.

Wrong again, lib:

On the other side are those such as senior fellow and director of Economics21 at the Manhattan Institute, Diana Furchtgott-Roth who, in a Jan. 14 piece for RealcCearMarkets.com noted that “since 2000 the labor force participation rates of workers 55 and over have been rising steadily, and the labor force participation rates of workers between 16 and 54 have been declining.”

Which is absolutely true. Since 2003, those 65 years and older have seen their labor force participation rate rise from 13.99 percent to 18.7 percent. Those aged 55-64 saw their rate rise from 62.44 percent to 64.36 percent, a recent Americans for Limited Government (ALG) study of Bureau data from 2003-2013 shows.

Meanwhile, participation by those aged 16-24 dropped from 61.56 percent in 2003 to 55.05 percent in 2013, and for those aged 25-54, it dropped from 82.98 percent to 82.01 percent.

Obama is continuing this trend, enriching Wall Street and destroying the middle class.

I like it when conservatives use facts to debate. We have lots of jobs now that need filling but many in the group you cite (16-54 ) are unable to pass a drug test. I will assure you that not all are liberals, as a matter of fact, poor southern whites on food sStamps and Medicaid make up much of the GOP base.
What do you think the solution is?

There is no "drug test" for President.

Don't do drugs. I cannot comprehend WHY you would think it is MY responsibility to provide a solution for the bad decisions of someone else. You are illustrating, perfectly, the difference between a conservative and a liberal. Liberals feel that they must provide a solution to everyone's self-created problems, normally by confiscating money from people who work hard and strive to make sound personal decisions in life. The cold hard truth is that if you hand someone money for doing drugs (because you want to 'help' them), the only thing you are doing is rewarding drug use and punishing responsible behavior. Conservatives want to help people, too, but they DEMAND that people first strive to help themselves. If you can't get a job because you can't pass a drug test, STOP DOING DRUGS! If you are struggling financially because you can't get a job because you can't pass a drug test, WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THE MONEY TO BUY DRUGS?

Conservative and liberal minds do seem to work different. While providing possible solutions to America's Drug problem in society may not be your personal responsibility it is in your self interest for our society to address this issue with new thinking. We are spending a huge amount of our resources ( Police, courts, prisons, security services, alarms, weapons, insurance cost, medical care) on an ineffective response.
"Just say no" and the conservative authoritarian response of prison has failed society.

"WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THE MONEY TO BUY DRUGS?" the answer to that question is most likely parents, working spouse, a cash job, or crime. People on welfare aware not proving to be those major drug users or at least a little less than the general population.
