Cruz is Lying about Trump and Second Amendment

As to Trump and the Second Amendment, some of you may have read this statement by Trump n November 2015: "When you look at Paris, toughest gun laws in the world, nobody had guns but the bad guys," he said. "Nobody
had guns. And they were just shooting them one by one, and then they broke in and had a big shootout and ultimately killed the terrorists. And I will tell you what — you can say what you want, if they had guns, if our people had guns, if they were allowed to carry, it would have been a much, much different situation."

But did you know that he first said it in January of last year, months before he began his run for president. After the attacks over Charlie Hebdo in January, Trump tweeted: it was France's stringent gun control laws – which have made France's police one of the few unarmed police forces in the world – that allowed the massacre to take place.

"If the people so violently shot down in Paris had guns, at least they would have had a fighting chance," wrote Trump on his Twitter feed. "Isn’t it interesting that the tragedy in Paris took place in one of the toughest gun control countries in the world? Remember, when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns!"

The tweet caused Gerard Araud, the French Ambassador to the United States, to respond "it "repugnant in its lack of any human decency." The French just never seem to be able to step up to the plate.

And, Trump is a member of the NRA as are both of his sons. Trump also carries.

A vote for Donald Trump is an idiotic vote and your whole post is incorrect which means Cruz must not be lying. He stated in his book The America We Deserve in 2000 on page 102 that he is for an assault weapons ban. This is Trump's own words. That is gun control that he does support. Trump has changed his position so many times on so many issues nobody can keep up. A vote for Trump is just a protest vote. I hate what they are doing in Washington D.C. and I identify more with Mark Meadows then Virginia Foxx. However I can see through the farce that is Donald Trump. None of the candidates are perfect but Trump is a disaster.

I am curious to see if it wasn't good enough for Romney, is it good enough for TRUMP.
