And this again...

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2016/02/25/texas-bakers-face-threats-after-declining-to-bake-gay-wedding-cake.html

A selected passage:

"That became a problem on Feb. 17th when Ben Valencia and Luis Marmolejo requested the bakers make a cake for their upcoming wedding.

“I was up front with them,” Edie told me. “I said, ‘I’m sorry but we don’t provide wedding cakes for homosexual marriages.”

“We don’t do cakes that might conflict with our spiritual convictions,” she said. “It was not something personal against the two young men. We just need to be able to run our business in a way that honors God.”

She offered to provide the gay couple with a list of bakeries that would meet their needs, but she said the men simply walked out of the store.

A few days later she received a telephone call from the local newspaper. The gay couple had gone public — and had accused the Delorme family of discrimination.

"It just kind of makes you feel dehumanized," Valencia told the News-Journal. "People shouldn't have to worry about going into a business, especially a public business that serves the public, and have to worry about being turned away for something, for who you are.”

Marmolejo told the newspaper he couldn’t understand why the couple just didn’t violate their religious beliefs.

"I don't see how making a cake for somebody is going to compromise your beliefs,” he said.

Soon after the story was published, the Delormes were overwhelmed with a number of threats against the business and their family. Angry activists posted derogatory reviews on Yelp and other social networking platforms.

“See you in Hell, lady,” read one angry message. “Racist criminals.

“This business is run by a homophobic piece of s***,” another message read.

David and Edie said they have a long-standing policy to turn away any business that mighty conflict with their religious beliefs. They won’t make any tobacco-related cake. They won’t make any alcohol-related cakes either. And no risqué cakes — of any kind."

As I have said before, the gay mafia will NEVER be satisfied until they have rammed their lifestyle down the throats of every person who holds traditional beliefs. Simple tolerance is not enough. You MUST bow down. You MUST serve. You MUST share abandon your privacy in public restrooms and lockers. To simply ask, "Please, leave me alone to live my life as I wish; to do business in a way that I believe God wants me to live it" will be met with threats, intimidation, lawsuits, and ultimately, financial ruin. THIS is what the dissenting justices predicted would happen.

If you hold to traditional beliefs concerning homosexuality, you WILL be destroyed. You will NOT be allowed to live according to your beliefs. The group that just wanted to keep everyone out of THEIR bedrooms now wants to invade every aspect of your life.

So many conservatives love this phrase "rammed their lifestyle down the throats ". I wonder why?

It is appropriate that the law goes into effect April 1st. The law will be challenged and brought to a vote by the people, and will be reversed. In Houston, where the law was also reversed, all you had to be was "questioning" your sex to be able to use the facilities of your choice. In Utopia, this would be fine. In Reality... no.
Utopians are Totalitarians.

My question, for all of the supporters of "restroom choice," is, "how do you enforce this so that ONLY transgender/homosexual/"questioning" individuals use the restroom of their choice? Will there be some sort of test? Identification? Armband or badge? Or will it be on the "honor system?" How do you prevent this from being abused by individuals who only want an opportunity to leer at women? This is a legitimate question you must answer before enacting such a policy. Do not respond with, "This won't really be a problem -- you're just inciting fear." Sexual assault is real. Perverts and sexual predators are real. Did anyone see the Watauga Democrat about the young man recently sentenced in a sex crime? To just ignore legitimate and sincere concerns from ordinary citizens is to endanger such citizens in the name of political correctness.

Because it accurately describes what liberals try to do to normal, hard-working Americans all the time. Are you demonstrating a hatred or contempt for gay people when you ask that question?
