Reader Asks "For Which Countries Does God Choose the Leader

A commenter SNR asked "For which countries does God choose the leader?" When readers ask such questions here, I don’t know if they are being sincere or snarky. But, since it is obvious no one could answer such a question, I choose snarky. It sounded like a "who says so?" remark. But questions like this on my blog do make it relevant to talk about my favorite subjects.

Each of us has his or her own ways of making sense of events. Because
I have spent my entire adult life studying the Bible, it should be obvious that I have found a way to make sense for me.

If anyone is interested, here is what works for me and I will use God choosing Trump as the example.

I believe that in the beginning, everything belonged to the Creator, so we say it is God’s world de jure–meaning legally. However, now its de facto--in reality.    We say de facto came about when He created humans and gave them dominion over everything. (Gen 1:8,115:16 all Bible references can be found in comment section)  Then he created sub elohims to help us, but they took over. So now elohims are called the "rulers of this world". (Deut 32:8 ) (Ps 82:1-8).

The way the Trump thing works is the way everything works. Amos (2:7) says "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets." Because dominion is ours, human prophets are not prophets because they see the future. Human prophets cause the future.

So in a case like Trump’s, the prophets talk to God about who should win. God informs
them who He wants. Then knowing God’s will, it becomes the prophets’ job to pray in the manifestation.

In this last election, the stakes were really high. A type of moral quasi spiritual power confronted the church and its mission. For now we call it PC, but it is more than that.

PC was the churches’ fault. The church abandoned the mission Jesus gave them just before He left. Renegade elohims have caused poverty, disease, sickness, wars and all the terrible things that have destroyed God’s creation. For three years Jesus modeled the actions that demonstrate restoring God’s sovereignty. He told them to announce the sovereignty of God which looks like this: "The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. (Luke 7:22)Cast out the elohims!

But the church in the West abandoned its mission. They began doing things that were easier. So they became anaemic and irrelevant and are dying. They left themselves wide open for PC to grab the moral high ground. Perhaps if there had not been such self-righteousness and spiritual power in PC pushing the church out of the public arena, PC would not have caused alarm.

So God had to bring us a non-politician who is not intimidated by PC to protect His church. And Trump is doing it. So that is what happened, why it happened, and how it happened. Meanwhile there is no evidence that the church has learned anything. We do take comfort though in the church explosion in the emerging nations because they have it right.

Gen 1:28"And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” “The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind.” Ps 115:16

Deut32:7-9 (GNT) Here is where he puts us under an elohim.
8 The Most High assigned nations their lands;
he determined where peoples should live.
He assigned to each nation a heavenly being,
9 but Jacob's descendants he chose for himself.

Here is where God brings the elohim back to headquarters, reams them out, and tells them their punishment..
Psalm 82 (GNT)

82 God presides in the heavenly council;
in the assembly of the gods he gives his decision:
2 “You must stop judging unjustly;
you must no longer be partial to the wicked!
3 Defend the rights of the poor and the orphans;
be fair to the needy and the helpless.
4 Rescue them from the power of evil people.
5“How ignorant you are! How stupid!
You are completely corrupt,
and justice has disappeared from the world.
6‘You are gods,’ I said;
‘all of you are children of the Most High.’
7But you will die like mortals;
your life will end like that of any prince.”

POV I moved your two comments to where they belong. POV do you ever wonder if somewhere along the way you have picked up an unclean anti-Christ spirit? The way you can diagnose yourself is to read the writings of other religions such as Buddhism or Hinduism and you feel o.k. Then if you feel yourself having an odd annoyance when you read my Christian posts, do you ever wonder if you have picked up something you can't explain to yourself?

god DID pick Obama.

"

god DID pick Obama."

He certainly did. He has used many unpleasant things to teach people a lesson. Floods, plagues, Obama ....

Yep the 7 plagues of Egypt rolled into one.

I was unaware that seats of government are supernaturally endowed.

Anonymous- You could have stopped "unaware".

Sark, we have to remember that these Anonymous type comment provide a valuable service. After all, you ctn not have a sharp knife unless you periodically rub it against dull rocks of varying densities.

Anon 4:09 like "all men are created by their creator with certain unalienable rights". Is that what you are unaware of?

Sarkazein said...

GuyFaulkes- That could be where the word dullard originated.

"all men are created by their creator with certain unalienable rights"

"...men are "ENDOWED" by their..." Your laziness with facts is typical.

Which god is credited with ENDOWING this supernatural power?

Thanks anon for catching my error and also by getting it right, and making my point.

Anonymous 3:42 PM- Here is the correct way to use quotation marks within a quotation-
In American English, use double quotation marks for quotations and single quotation marks for quotations within quotations.

Notice I cut and paste the entire reference above so I don't leave out the period in the cut and paste.

You were still incorrect.

While I appreciate the attention, you couldn't even properly cite my chosen username......on your own blog......in response to your own posting. A simple mistake I'm sure, but now you realize why I ask for actual verifiable citations.

I asked for which countries God chooses the leader. You claim it was "snark." It was, however, a serious question. And your answer has only deepened the significance of the original query.

You claimed to know (or feel, or intuit) that God chose Trump. Your reply to my question centered on God's decision to choose Trump (simplified, but please allow me the brevity here), but made no mention of other world leaders. I wished to know your thoughts on the multitude of world leaders other than our own. You chose to ignore the entire question and focuss on your own. As a Professor Emeritus, I would suspect that you would give no credit to a student who chose to circumvent the assigned question.

My, again, request is this: With your in-depth knowledge of the Abrahamic God, please analyze the leaders of each country and provide a list of which were chosen directly by God.

RSN my apologies. As to your question, I have no way of knowing the answer to your question. But to repeat, as Trump came down that escalator the day he announced, God spoke to me entiriorly saying Trump is the one. As you know, those of us who hear from God have learned empirically how His voice sounds as compared to ones own voice and the voice of a fallen elohim. Then some of the really high powered prophets with perfect track records were saying the same thing. It has been tough trying to keep faith in that his winning was so improbable, not to mention the ongoing demonic attacks that at times seem to be winning. One of the prophets in in 2012 even heard God say "and you will hear them saying 'Impeach, impeach'' but it will not be so." If you are an intercessor then don't let down. I have lived a very long life, my first vote was for FDR. Never have I seen any thing close to such a satanic attack on any president. Thanks for your interest.

"those of us who hear from God have learned empirically how His voice sounds"

You are schizophrenic, and delusional.

guy faulkes said...

Anonymous, you are speaking about something of which you have no frame of reference. There is none so deaf as he who will not hear(to paraphrase the song). Have you ever seen oxygen? Do you also deny its existence?

Anonymous said...

There is, scientific, irrefutable, provable evidence of oxygen. There is no such evidence of the supernatural. Faith is not evidence.

Anonymous said...

Do you believe everything you hear?

Sarkazein said...

Let me see if I have this right--- "References Still Needed " comes up with a snarky screen name for this post/thread then he complains about snark regarding his comments. He even whines about his screen name being abbreviated... what a pus. Blogging is not for sissies. Perhaps this is the same commenter who does this snarky screen name often, maybe not. But "References Still Needed" is a typical snowflake liberal crybaby and does not deserve serious response to his comments, much less to his snarky screen name du jour.

guy faulkes said...

"Faith is not evidence. " Personal experience is.

"Do you believe everything you hear?" No. I evaluate and decide the merits of believing in something. AS I have a personal relationship with the Supreme Being, it is not difficult for me to believe in Him.

Do you believe in nothing you hear about?

I like what Blogger wrote above about how to test/diagnose yourself-

"... do you ever wonder if somewhere along the way you have picked up an unclean anti-Christ spirit? The way you can diagnose yourself is to read the writings of other religions such as Buddhism or Hinduism and you feel o.k. Then if you feel yourself having an odd annoyance when you read my Christian posts, do you ever wonder if you have picked up something you can't explain to yourself?"

There are many liberals out there who should identify with this, but they are so closed minded they won't.

Faith IS evidence in itself. Who are you to tell someone their faith is not evidence? The Bible, from which faith is detailed constantly, is evidence. Not that you agree with that, but then again I have faith you're not the sharpest tool in the shed. LOL
