The UT stabbing yesterday was stopped by a student with a campus carry permit. One person died several wounded.

Next would be to compare demographics on the high murder rate areas and see who makes up most of the population of those areas.

"The NRA continues to control American Political power." nony

Well, they apparently don't in the counties shown on that map. It definitely shows how the democrats have turned large cities into abattoirs. Those governors, mayors and county officials who deny Americans the ability to defend themselves under the 2nd Amendment should be prosecuted for denying their rights under the Constitution.

Curious. Pontiac MI is only 49th.

Rumor is I was born at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac. And made many trips there growing up due to childhood escapades. We lived in the surrounding county, which around our home was mostly forest, farms and swamps. Oakland County was at one time the richest county in the US during the early days of automobile production. Huge factories surrounded by rural areas, kinda like Germany

Having watched it and the other Michigan cities listed descend from prosperous, white middle class cities into murderous cesspools I thought they would have sunk lower since I left so many decades ago. Maybe they stabilized because they could sink no further.

All this I blame the left for. I saw it happen, I saw it all. I lived there until my new wife had finished her education then we got the f**k out. I saw the writing on the wall back then and it was in BIG effin' letters.

And as I have written before, the dems are neck deep in the decline, fall and damnation of the middle class there, and of the industry and economy of the whole state.

In moving here, where my family is from and has lived since before there was a US, I have watched the left try and do the same thing to North Carolina, as a foothold in the Free South to anchor the assault on the rest of Dixie.

My explanation for why they have not totally succeeded and turned this state completely blue is the Right to Work.

Unions are what gave the left the money, votes and connections to turn the politics of Michigan against the people. But that tactic doesn't work in right to work states.

Now, the left uses division, racism, class warfare and other tactics gotten from the Communists to create factions they can manipulate by emotion and play against one another to give them advantage and power.

There is no compromise with those who want to destroy you.

Houston is in that top 100 now that it is a liberal Democrat city.
