Dems: "Give Us the Illegal Aliens and We Will Open the Government Back Up

Ann Coulter just nailed it. The establishment Republicans want the cheap labor. The Dems want the voters. The fix is in. This whole shut down farce is all about driving Trump to give them amnesty. If they really wanted to move on they would make it take 51% because it is a budgetary issue. McConnell is a phony.

I don't buy the "cheap labor" thing. This is the first time Ann has ever been wrong.

Sark, I have to side with Blogger and Ann Coulter on this one. The labor force in Avery County is a prime example. Avery is so Republican that the Republican primary is the defacto general election. If you win the Repubican primary, you are going to carry the county. However, many of the establishment Republican party members are Christmas tree farmers that want the illegal work force that keeps wages down.

Well, that's three of you wrong. One of my businesses would completely shut down at least temporarily if all the illegals flew south for the winter and I am still for the wall, deporting ALL illegals, arresting the mayors of sanctuary cities, and calling for the UN to occupy Mexico. Migrant workers, at one time, were legally used in California to harvest and maybe still are. If migrant workers are needed there should be a legal way to hire them. Big corporations would rather not break the law because of fines and jail time and disruption to production. If there were no illegals, the Christmas tree farmers and the home builders would make due. The problem is competing with someone using illegals. Another problem is finding manual laborers. Stop welfare in most cases and you have given people an incentive to work. I know you know this already, but I cannot believe the Republicans who are not as Populist or as Conservative as you are purposely interfering with legislation just so they can illegally hire illegals.
Just as President Trump is up against the media and the Democrats, so is McConnell (sp). President Trump is not on a legislative cakewalk and either is the Republican leadership.
I am just hoping Ann doesn't read this.

Sark, I not only believe they do this, but I heard therm boast of it. Of course, they do not call it interfering; rather they believe they are just using the political process to further their goals. The fact that this claim is probably valid does not meant I have to agree with it.

Allow me to pay you the compliment of observing that you are as far from the typical establishment Republican as I am except that I believe you are a Republican. I am not a member of that part.

I don't say that because I vote Republican, it is that I have never heard any corporate leader saying he wants illegals because of cheap labor. Where and what did you hear?

Sarkazein said...

I have never had any Republican politician call me and ask for a donation to help keep the illegals here. I have never heard a Republican corporate head say- "I am voting for the Republicans who want to keep illegals here". I am not seeing it.
We are back to blaming the Republicans when the Democrats and the MSM are the problem. Many thought "the art of the deal" would conquer all. When that was looking shaky .... blame the Republicans.

Sark, I have never heard any politician say he wanted a donation to help keep illegals here. I have heard Republicanism say they were donating to to politicians to keep illegal aliens here. I do not know if these people represented corporations or not. They were Christmas Tree Farmers. (I used to be one myself.) Some of their operations wee quiet large. They all said that they could not get locals to work. I never had that problem, but I paid a little better than average. I do not just blame the Republicans. I do not give them a free ride because they are Republicans either. If you support the illegals then you are to blame, regardless of who you are.

GuyFaulkes- I believe all the turmoil on the legislative level is caused by the huge difference between the Republicans and the Democrats now, not their similarities. There are videos showing key Democrats saying they are against illegal immigration and it's hurting our country which somehow turned to saying Republicans are evil for saying the same things they said only a few years ago. The problem is, they ( D) have MSM on their side and they have the right to vote and they have current legislative rules. I just don't see it in anyway being the Republican's fault since they have to follow the rules. I describe myself as a libertarian with Conservative tendencies. I rarely describe myself as a Republican even though I vote R most every time.
You mentioned about the Christmas tree farmers voting for sanctuary... after the flood in Houston recently, the joke was- "Please Mr Trump hold off on that wall for a while". There is a "labor shortage" in this country and it's not caused by population, it's caused by liberalism.

Sark, I never said that it is solely the Republican's fault. I never said it is all the Republicans fault. It is some of the Republican's fault as well as the Democrats.
