I was fortunate enough to have chatted or visited
with Mrs. Bush several times in 1989 and in the Nineties. An associate of mine lived two doors down from the Bush's Houston home. He was also their homebuilder. Mrs Bush would stop and talk to us during her walk with Millie. She was a beautiful woman in person and would immediately put you at ease by being such a regular person. It is easy to see where W got his sense of humor and positive outlook. When people say she will be missed, it is true.
