Did Tillis Respond to My Letter or Did He Gobbledygook Me As Usual

Below are excerpts from two letters sent to Tillis. Tillis letter The last is his response. Did he answer me?

Excepts from my second letter:

Letter sent to Senator Tillis who has joined three other idiots to try to handcuff the president for Mueller.
Senator Tillis:
You know and I know, President Trump has every Constitutional right to fire Mueller. At the same time, you know you have no
Constitutional status to box him in. Write on the black board a hundred times "I am just a senator. I am just a senator. I am just a senator."

The first time you were wading into this quagmire, you answered my letter with such politician
gobbledygook, you confused me. I actually thought you had come to your senses. But here you are again.

I will try once more.

Tillis responds:

Dear Constituent,

Thank you for taking the time to contact me about the investigation of Russian involvement in the presidential election. I appreciate hearing from you.

As you know, the United States Intelligence Community concluded that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. Presidential election. I believe any effort by a foreign government, or by anyone for that matter, to skew an election through hacking or malign activities, such as media manipulation and disinformation campaigns is reprehensible.

The committees of proper jurisdiction in the Senate and House have been investigating Russia’s attempts to interfere in our election and with the information technology systems of our government. On March 22, 2018, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence voted to formally end its investigation, citing no evidence of conclusion between President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia. The Senate Intelligence Committee has yet to conclude its concurrent investigation. The Department of Justice is also conducting an investigation to determine if there was any collusion between the Russian government and individuals associated with the presidential campaign of Donald Trump.

On May 9, 2017, James Comey was relieved of his duties as the Director of the FBI. Subsequently, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller to serve as Special Counsel to oversee the Russia investigation. Mr. Mueller is an exceptional choice with a reputation for fairness, impartiality, and commitment to the rule of law. As Special Counsel, he will be able to exercise his broad investigative and prosecutorial powers independently of the Department of Justice’s chain of command.

Thus far, there have been several indictments issued in this investigation, including former National Security Advisor to President Trump, Michael Flynn, three former Trump campaign aides, thirteen Russian nationals, and three Russian companies. The investigation will be a lengthy process, and I trust that Special Counsel Mueller will follow the facts wherever they may lead while conducting a thorough investigation.

Again, thank you for taking the time to contact me. Please do not hesitate to contact me again about other important issues.

Sincerely,

Thom Tillis

U.S. Senator

That was his response? Does he think his constituents don't watch the news? Ridiculous.

Sark. That is exactly my reaction.
