I want a single payer system because it has been proven to be the most effecient, least expensive and deliever the highest quality health care. You have medicare what right do you have blocking children and young parents from a similar plan?

On what planet? Here on earth, it has always meant red ink and rationing. In the USA, it will be the biggest entitlement program that we have ever had and there's no money for it.

So in your world, a "leader" fixes his problem through subterfuge and distraction and you are OK with it?
Your "leader" only leads the gullible.

Which Obama do you believe? Neither.

Medicare is going broke, and at an accelerated rate due to the reduction in tax revenue. Last article I saw gave it until 2017, 8 years from now.

Using a failed program to justify another financial disaster is insane.

Obama's goal is cradle to grave health care, and control of our lives.

LPOV's claims are ridiculous on the face of them, and yet he continues his fantasies despite the facts.

This furthers my idea that lefties are not ideologues or just uninformed and gullible, they are cultists, therefore facts and reason have no influence on their ideas, only an unsubstantiated belief that they are right , and that they have the right to tell us how to live.

This video is spreading all over the blogosphere. The White House’s spinmeisters are frantically trying to spin it. Essentially they are saying, “Are you going to believe us or your lying eyes?”

Thanks to those of you who did not and will not let LiberalPOV and the others try to get off point. The point Liberal is, we have a president who is duplicitous; pure and simple.

You seem to be saying that because he is sneaking in something you favor, that makes it all O.K. with you.

In the Houston area alone, a major Medare/Medicade bust uncovered $341,000,000 of fraud with 22 people arrested last week. This is just one city out of how many. Make government programs larger and the fraud and abuse dollar amounts rise accordingly.

I know, let's call this segment, "Faux News."

ROTFLMAO!

Thanks for proving my point Bikerbard!

When faced with the actual words of your Fuehrer you deny it as an invention of the Evil Fox News.

What a moron!

The following video is the Spin released by the White House to try to counteract the video that is the subject of this thread. In my opinion, the only thing it does is to confirm that Mr. Obama is not only a liar, but that he deserves the title of Liar In Chief. He has been caught talking out of both sides of his mouth. Maybe Mr. Obama's should have a fourth name. Janus would seem to qualify as he certainly is two faced.

Guy Faulkes-

That video is weird on many levels. An agent of Obama telling the public the videos where Obama is saying he is for a single payer system are doctored and false. Then she shows videos and tells us what we are supposed to believe. If the videos were in fact doctored or taken out of context, she would have shown the real videos and explained where they were edited or tell their true content. There are people out there, after seeing that WH video, who will now believe the other videos are fakes. This is the most purposely dishonest administration in our history.
Notice she was on The Drudge Report with her computer, trying to discredit that site.

EXPLAIN!

Sarkazein said...

The World Health Organization's ranking of the world's health systems was last produced in 2000, and the WHO no longer produces such a ranking table, because of the complexity of the task.

From your own link POV.

It is a bogus ranking, they were caught and quit. If you use only natural causes of death (health) we "rank" at the top.

WHO’s Fooling Who?
The World Health Organization’s Problematic
Ranking of Health Care Systems
by Glen Whitman
Glen Whitman is an associate professor of economics at California State University at Northridge.
No. 101
The World Health Report 2000, prepared by the
World Health Organization, presented perfor-
mance rankings of 191 nations’ health care sys-
tems. These rankings have been widely cited in
public debates about health care, particularly by
those interested in reforming the U.S. health care
system to resemble more closely those of other
countries. Michael Moore, for instance, famously
stated in his film SiCKO that the United States
placed only 37th in the WHO report. CNN.com,
in verifying Moore’s claim, noted that France and
Canada both placed in the top 10.
Those who cite the WHO rankings typically
present them as an objective measure of the rela-
tive performance of national health care systems.
They are not. The WHO rankings depend crucial-
ly on a number of underlying assumptions—
some of them logically incoherent, some charac-
terized by substantial uncertainty, and some root-
ed in ideological beliefs and values that not every-
one shares.
The analysts behind the WHO rankings
express the hope that their framework “will lay
the basis for a shift from ideological discourse on
health policy to a more empirical one.” Yet the
WHO rankings themselves have a strong ideolog-
ical component. They include factors that are
arguably unrelated to actual health performance,
some of which could even improve in response to
worse health performance. Even setting those
concerns aside, the rankings are still highly sensi-
tive to both measurement error and assumptions
about the relative importance of the components.
And finally, the WHO rankings reflect implicit
value judgments and lifestyle preferences that dif-
fer among individuals and across countries.

I don't care what you think, "Faux News" was funny! It was more a joke about Faulkes, not Fox. Perhaps you missed the word play?

In any event, lighten up. If you can't laugh at the absurdity of this sensationalistic headline, you need a sense of humor.

Still ROTFLMAO!

Is BB finally admitting he is a joke? If so I agree with him.
