Montana Town Hall. Who Are These People? And Who Is I?

Most of you have already seen this and I had hoped to get a shorter version of just the first 2 minutes. But, did you notice only about five hand claps when the man said he was an NRA member? This was suppose to be Montana. So, who the hell were all those non-cheering people in the audience?

Secondly, Obama answered: "You are absolutely right. "I" can't cover another 46 million people for free." "Since he uses the word "I" and not "your government", it sounds like he was originally planning to pay for it out of his own pocket.

Obama says "I" Please tell me I did not sleep through Obama's coup.

I did not listen past the first 2 1/2 minutes as I am sure it was, as the man said, more bull. I never listen to his health care pitch any more. I will start again if he ever says something worth listening to. That would be "I have decided to be president of all Americans. I am going to sit down with moderate Democrats and Republicans and craft a real health care reform bill?"

What are the odds of us ever hearing something this sane?

When the dude said he was in the NRA, I was hoping for a 2nd Amendment related question. Hussein Obama absolutely despises those questions. The audience, like the last one town hall, was hand picked with fringe left supporters. Let's hope Hussein Obama keeps with his Messiah undertones ("I can't afford it) well into 2010. The mid terms should be interesting.

Obama is on something in this video. It is some kind of amphetamine or cocaine, I am not sure which one.
As a child of the Sixties, I by instinct can recognize it.
He is high during this town hall meeting.

Bush and Cheney never did anything like that did they?

Nobody said...

"Bush and Cheney never did anything like that did they?"

So you're admitting that the crowd was hand picked? I don't know if Bush/Cheney did this, but I do know they were accused of doing it and liberals like you raised holy hell over it. Do the same now! Require that YOUR President answer real questions from real townhall attendees, not hand picked friendly audiences, or you are being hypocritical in the extreme.

Liberal, Did your mama never teach you that "Two wrongs do not make a right?"

This is off subject, but does anyone know NC's open carry policy?
I'm just curious after reading about Arizona yesterday.

guy faulkes said...

To the best of my knowledge, you can carry in the open anywhere but schools, courthouses, state and federal parks, and federal buildings unless there are local ordinances that prohibit carrying in other places. Blowing Rock bans the possession of guns and "any other weapon" on any property it owns. As people have been stabbed to death with pencils and pens, I am not sure what they write with in the town hall. I do not know what they would do if you were carrying on a city street or sidewalk.

There is a charge that can be made against you called going armed to the terror of the public. A magistrate once told me that before he would issue a warrant for this crime, the complainant would have to prove that your intent was to terrorize the public. He said some people are afraid of anything and your intent was the deciding factor. However, he said that other magistrates might charge you just from someone filing the complaint.

Sarkazein said...

In Texas, one of the rules for concealed carry, is you can not carry your weapon to any political event.

Open carry of a long gun is not illegal at a political rally as long as it is not carried in a threatening manor.
However, you may not be allowed in the building by the people controlling the building.

You may be able to beat the charge, but you won't be able to beat the ride downtown. By the time you get back, the party is over.

Thanks guys. So helpful you are.
I was just wondering if people in our area will start holstering them on. I was thinking of getting a concealed permit, just for safety purposes of course.

Arrogance from our government officials, make people do strange things sometimes.

Sarkazein said...

The only problem with getting a CCL is you put yourself on an enemies list of the far Left. Name, address, picture, etc. I got one in the spirit of cooperation and HOPE it will not be used against me by a far Left government that would have a website to turn people in for disagreeing with them.
This is why it is important to own a few guns that have never gone through the federal registry.

Reader said...

Sark, have any idea how many is too many to own? We belong to NRA, but have questioned getting a concealed permit because of what you stated. Media says permits are up in our county, have no idea why of course. Gun happy conservatives...we aren't right are we? I hear ammo is still a little hard to find too, depending on what you are looking for.

Sarkazein said...

" many is too many to own? "

I think only POV knows the answer. All I can say, is sometimes I see one of my guns, and I forgot I owned it. That is usually the one I will take to the range next time. I finally broke down and bought another "assault" weapon, Obama has driven the price way up along with most ammo. The spent casings from DOD were being sold to China now instead of re-loaders. Supply and Demand. But I understand this has been reversed because of two Democrat Congressmen.

NJ city considers adult curfew after crime spate

8/18/2009, 4:38 p.m. EDT
The Associated Press
(AP) — PATERSON, N.J. - Curfews might not be just for kids anymore in one city in northern New Jersey.

Officials in Paterson are considering one for people of all ages in a bid to curb violence after a spate of deadly shootings.

Several experts say they believe it would be the nation's first curfew of its type to include adults. The state ACLU says it would open Paterson to legal action.

The curfew would last for two months and would bar people from loitering outside from midnight to 7 a.m. Violators would face up to a $2,000 fine and 90 days in jail.

Anyone want to bet if Patterson is a Red city or a Blue city, run by liberal Democrats.

Reader said...

Sark, same here. Husband's a business man, therefore he'll trade for anything.

BikerBard said...

Duh! Pick ANY inner-city in America and I'll bet you it has a majority of Democrats. You Repubs didn't want to soil yourselves dealing with African-Americans, Hispanics, and other minorities who live in our cities.
Remember, you are the party of cranky, well-off, old, white men.

And Michael Steele for the frontman. Looks good!

Sarkazein said...

This is amazing... the story about Patterson captured my interest because of the Town leadership punishing ALL because of the actions of a few... treating ALL as children, giving them a curfew. The fact that theses minorities typically vote for Liberals and this is what they get... loss of freedom.
The story of Patterson captured my interest also because New Jersey has some of the hardest gun-control laws in the country. You have to get permission from the State to even purchase a gun in NJ and you can not buy one at a gun show.

You can form your own bigoted opinions about the story of Patterson if you must blame the crime on the fact the people are minorities.

BikerBard said...

Duh, again! MOST of the residents of Paterson belong to minorities! Doesn't that make them majorities?

I have worked in Paterson. I'm VERY familiar with this city and state. Paterson was the site of race riots in 1964. The majority of residents are African-American and hispanic (South Americans and Central Americans,) and Paterson has a significant Peruvian, Puerto-Rican, Dominican and Turkish population. The current mayor, Jose "Joey" Torres is Puerto-Rican. The city council members are all from various minorities (including African-Americans) who populate this diverse city. The vote for a curfew was abandoned after re-thinking the matter. NJ courts have struck down such curfews in the past and reports suggest the council is now discussing an under-age curfew. It is understandable, however, that they do not want a recurrence of a riot after this current summer of violence and that they do understand the severity of curfews. Regardless, you should have investigated the matter a little before you pontificated. No one is being "punished." That is only a Republic (usage intended)way of reacting.

On a more humorous note: Mayor Torres replaced REPUBLICAN Mayor Martin Barnes, was given a 37-month PRISON SENTENCE for taking over $200,000 in bribes and "tips." Barnes privously pled guilty to mail fraud and tax evasion. You can't make this funny shit up! (LOL!)

The ONLY bigot here is YOU, my friend, the one who jumped to conclusions. And between the two of us, I'll wager that I'm the only one who worked for, and voted for an African-American as President.

I also can't believe that you really think shootings in New Jersey are all perpetrated by law-abiding gun owners. Wake up and smell the gunpowder, Sark. Haven't you ever watched, "The Sopranos?" Some of the opening credits were filmed in Paterson, and a few episodes involved Paterson's "Great Falls."

PS: "Paterson" has only one "t."

Sarkazein said...

No way BB, your comment was the jump to conclusion.
Yours was the bigoted one whether you worked there once or not. My comment was about the article I posted. The Liberal Town leaders did or were going to treat their citizens as children. When you elect cradle to grave liberals, expect to be treated as children. From where do you think the term "nanny State" comes. You can try to use smoke to hide your bigoted comment, but it is clear as is possible.

"I also can't believe that you really think shootings in New Jersey are all perpetrated by law-abiding gun owners."- BB I won't even try to de-code that incoherent comment. There is nothing in my comment even remotely close to that. Yours is just the drivel of a mind in search of a thought.
And don't complain to me about your racist vote either.

Las Vegas jobless rate hits all-time high of 13.1 percent

Nevada's unemployment rose to 12.5 percent in July, while joblessness in especially hard-hit Las Vegas surged to 13.1 percent. It’s the highest jobless rate both statewide and locally since the state began tracking data in 1976.///

It looks like Obama's telling people not go to Vegas has worked.

You are a pisser! You make bigoted remarks, then attribute them to me. Funny stuff.

But as I read more of your postings, I have come to see that this is your modis operandi. The Great and Powerful Sark is not a racist or a bigot! Those who question him, are!

Visit Paterson, NJ someday, or even, some night. It would be fun to see how a cranky old white man shows his deep respect and admiration for the black folk there! No fear from Sark - HE's no bigot! He's an outstanding citizen with no faults (that is, if you don't count his ego.)

You are truely ridiculous and a prime example of "a dining room table," which Barney Frank spoke about. But hey, Sark loves the gay man, too. Sark is no bigot! Queers and negroes are some of Sark's best friends, right? Wetbacks too, correct?

The Great and Powerful Sark has spoken!

"I'm rubber and you're glue.
Everything bounces off of me and sticks to you" defense.

It is wearing thin.

Sarkazein said...

BB- Cut and paste my bigoted remarks. There is none. It is a political demographic saying minorities tend to vote for liberals (R or D but liberals)

Here is yours: "Duh! Pick ANY inner-city in America and I'll bet you it has a majority of Democrats. You Repubs didn't want to soil yourselves dealing with African-Americans, Hispanics, and other minorities who live in our cities"-BB

This assumes you think "inner city" minorities are the cause of crime there as the article wrote of a crime spate. More specifically "...soil yourselves dealing with African-Americans, Hispanics, and other minorities..."
You are a typical liberal bigot.

Las Vegas jobless rate hits all-time high of 13.1 percent--Sarkazein. Yes and here is where it gets even more personal with me as Obama also dissed Orlando. That's my son's town and his business relies on tourists.

You have countered with the famous, "Oh yea?" retort. Coming from a typical conservative bigot, that's silly stuff! Or in language you relate to..."No I'm not, you are! And I'm not listening (fingers in my ears) either - nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah!" (LOL)

"I have received a mortal hurt!"
