Republicans Pulling Ahead

Generic Congressional Ballot
Generic Ballot: Republicans 43%, Democrats 38%
Tuesday, August 04, 2009

Support for Republican congressional candidates has risen to its highest level in recent years, giving the GOP a five-point lead over Democrats in the latest Congressional Ballot and stretching the out-of-power party's lead to six weeks in a row.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 43% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 38% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent.

This thread would probably have generated more comment if everyone (including POV and BB) had not expected it. One can only imagine what the Republican lead will be after hearing the song and dance routines that Congress is going to preform for their constitutes over the August break. This lead may not be a good thing as being a Republican does not necessarily mean you are a conservative. The Republicans have let us down to many times to take them for granted just because Obama has acted as the poster child for those that want to ruin this country.

Good one Guy. I noticed the liberal socialist sheep such as Tricycle Lard didn't come back with anything on this thread. You have posted several here lately (along with Dog Tom) to which they ignore. The Border Patrol stuff you posted is especially interesting. Keep up the heat sir!!!!!!!!
