Did Bill Owens Really Win NY-23?

Hoffman is now (Monday, 11/16) a little over 2000 votes behind as the 10,000 military absentee ballots are beginning to be counted. The final results are expected Wednesday.
This is fascinating. Maybe I'm just naive in my partisanship but this begs the question: If the situation was reversed would Owens conceded as quickley as Hoffman did?

This is the best thing that has ever happened to the conservative movement regardless of the eventual outcome. The Republicans have learned from this race that merely the Republican label is not enough to get a candidate elected in even a staunch Republican district. It also takes being a conservative or at least a true moderate. If the end result of the race is overturned, then so much the better. If not, then the seat was a small price to pay to teach the Democrat wannabe Republicans a lesson.

There appears to be another RINO in trouble in Florida. This Rubio fella' has Christ on the ropes and he's not shying away from embracing Conservatism. He actually had the nads to say he couldn't think of a single thing he disagreed with Sarah Palin on. That sure bucks conventional wisdom as far as tactics go. Let's see if it works.

Hopefully, many of the absentee ballots are military.
Hopefully, the Democrat lawyers won't try to have the military absentee ballots thrown out as they did in Florida.

Do the math in a regular election year.

Voo Doo math keeps getting you folks in trouble.

Math has nothing to do with your opinions.

The math is not on our side since Scozzofava was still in the race when most of the absentee ballots were cast. A fella' can hope though, can't he?

OFF TOPIC, but important.

Mr. Obama said he could not ban guns if he tried because he did not have the votes. It looks like he may have found another way to do it.

One of the calls to arms in Guy Faulkes' Obama gun control link:

“If someone is so fearful that they are going to start using their weapons to protect their rights, it makes me very nervous that these people have weapons at all.”
~Rep. Henry Waxman (D)

A disgusting quote by a disgusting little man.
