I like Her Even More

Anonymous (if that's his real name) wrote: "If someone would care to move the above editorial to its own thread and invite direct commentary regarding its content, I'd welcome that. Frankly, I think it addresses some key points that persons from both ends of the political spectrum have espoused here of late. The article referenced is a Sarah Palin hit piece.

I'm more than happy to report that Sarah Palin has not diminished in stature at all in my eyes. She still drives the debate. She still drives the liberals crazy. I'm eager to debate Mr. Pitts points.

Mr. Pitts writes: "Mrs. Palin, you are an avatar of the shameless hypocrisy and cognitive disconnection that have driven our politics for the last decade, a process of stupidification creeping like kudzu over our national life."

Substitute Obama for "Mrs. Palin" and the argument is much much easier to make.

HD, GOP, Tea Party Members, Conservatives, Rush Groupies, Fox News Groupies

HD deleted my last comments on this subject.

Mr Pitts has it right in his essay and says it far better than I could.
The Tea Party is angry hecklers and Ms Palin is a for profit heckler or opportunist, neither have any answers to todays problems.

Fox ad the media in general has been dumping American citizens for over a decade. I personally think the media made a sharp turn away from hard news after the Iran Contra scandal the media cowards were promoted to management and the real journalist of that period lost their careers.
Last week was a great example of the time spent on a non news story of the kid in the air traffic control tower, nothing happened, no planes crashed, the kid was professionally repeating what his father told him to say. What real news got pushed off the air? Fox is by no means the only one dumbing America but it seems to be leading the pack to see how dumb Americans can become.

Ms Plain is cashing in on this same misinformed audience. "my dad gives me advise on what ammunition".
The woman is playing you for fools to by her book and be her groupies. Ms plain has no answers as Mr Pitts explains so well.

What will Ms Palin or the Conservatives, Tea Party know nothing do to fix issues like:

Jobs
Living Wages
Medical coverage and Health Care System
Increasing numbers of Americans dropping below the poverty line.
Crime
American Drug Addiction
Funding War started by Republicans
Prison Population
Immigration
Public Education System
Crumbling and out dated infatructure
Funding Medicare and Social Security
Corporate Royallty greed and theft of middle class savings and pension funds. Wells Fargo CEO making $18,000,000.00 per year. Most make 300 times that of average employee.
Creating real regulations to prevent another economic crisis like we just had.
The conservatives are pawns of Corporate status quo who want no answers.

Another decade of Know nothing Conservative rule and we will be like Columbia where kidnaping for ransom will be common place. The wealthy will live behind gates with private security needing body guards for themselves and family members. 80% percent of American ctizens will be in proverty.

Liberalproverbs18:2 has a huge problem. He cannot even admit this problem to himself as he is so far under the influence of Kool Aid.

This problem is that every major scientific poll shows his ideas to be completely wrong. The conservative movement is gaining strength and the progressive (liberal) movement is falling. This has been proved by recent elections such as in Virginia , New Jersey, and Massachusetts. It is also proven by the number of liberals that have decided not to run for reelection.

Instead of forming a third party, the Tea Party is taking a place at the Republican table. The Republicans have been forced to return to their conservative base.

The popularity of Obama, his policies, and liberals is in the tank and settling to the bottom.

I would welcome Liberalproverbs18:2 back, but we all knew he had never left. He cannot stand to go very long without mouthing his same old talking points (about which the majority of the citizens of the United States disagree.)

I have taken the liberty of moving this reply to the original post that started this thread to here so it would be in the proper place.

"Anonymous said is a misnomer. The paste (post)came from a liberal correspondent with the Miami Herald. This person indicates Ms. Palin's candidacy for President would divide the election along intellectual lines. This would be true. Those that are intellectual would support Ms. Palin in her championing of the free market system over socialism. Those Kool Aide drinkers that approve of big government would oppose her.

Ms. Palin's comment on Obama's general persona was right on the money. The specifics are to numerous to list. They range from his myriad disparaging remarks over the Tea Party movement participating in the political process to his saying he did not wish to listen to those he claims created the problems he thinks he is fixing when he is actually making conditions worse.

Anonyous, how about giving us your opinion rather than a cut and paste job? Reference the article if you wish, but at least make your own statement."

Liberalproverbs18:2, we have answered these questions over and over and over again. You never listen or come back with anything to support your opinions.

I hear you and BB are crying over on the Watch about having to make substantive arguments on this blog. You are not being censored, you just have to make statements and not talking points. It helps if you back the statements up with some kind of documentation. Repeating talking points over and over gets you nowhere.

I stopped reading the Watch when it lost the ability to let you post a comment. I hear it now has another carrier that lets you post. When I get time, I will have to go over there and see what the Me Too! Me Too! crowd is masturbating about verbally.

In a 25-minute video posted on militant Web sites, Adam Gadahn described Maj. Nidal Hasan as a pioneer who should serve as a role model for other Muslims, especially those serving Western militaries.
"Brother Nidal is the ideal role-model for every repentant Muslim in the armies of the unbelievers and apostate regimes," he said.///

I'm over 60 and have worked since the age of 14 and worked for two major American Corporations until the Reagan years were very good to employees. I've owned a business and never worked for the government. Can you say that?

Do you know socialism is? Do you consider Canada or France a socialist country?

Do you really want a right wing governemt based on strict capitalism like the days of Dickens or Hoover with child labor, worker safety issues and as few as 12 families controlling 95% of the wealth in this country?
Blogger Columbia has the model you want, how's that working out?
Now how about addressing the REAL issues above?
What does your mob plan to do to fix something?

How do you justify recieving both a government pension, Social Security and lobbying to keep a foot on the neck of the working poor?

How justify this behavior with your Christianity and family values? What is morality to you?

KARACHI, Pakistan (AP) - The American-born spokesman for al-Qaida has been arrested by Pakistani intelligence officers in the southern city of Karachi, two officers and a government official said Sunday, the same day Adam Gadahn appeared in a video urging U.S. Muslims to attack their own country.
The arrest of Gadahn is a major victory in the U.S.-led battle against al-Qaida and will be taken as a sign that Pakistan, criticized in the past for being an untrustworthy ally, is cooperating more fully with Washington. It follows the recent detentions of several Afghan Taliban commanders in Karachi, including the movement's No. 2 commander.

Be careful associating yourself with organizations that claim to be patriotic the KKK is one of those.

True patriots defend Freedom, Real Americans values and would never support thing like torture, human rights abuse or fellow Americans the right to medical treatment or a living wage. Real Patriots would want future generations to find an environment as good or better than when they arrived on earth.
Real American patriots believe in the word Justice and equal opportunity.

Obama heals the planet:

(Reuters) - Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi said on Sunday that relations with the United States had been "seriously disrupted," after a rise in friction between the two big powers.

BARACK OBAMA

"The responsibility does not lie with China," said Yang, speaking at a news conference on the sidelines of the annual session of China's parliament.

Beijing and Washington have recently gone through a rough patch, with quarrels in January and February over Chinese Internet censorship, trade disputes, U.S. arms sales to Taiwan, and President Barack Obama's meeting with the Dalai Lama, the exiled Tibetan leader.

The United States "must respect China's core interests" on Taiwan and Tibet, Yang added. "I believe the United States understands very well China's core interests and major concerns.

"China has always attached importance to its relationship with the United States," he said. "Resolutely adhering to one's principled stance is not the same thing as being hardline."

But the two big trade partners appear to want to lower the temperature of the disputes as they also grapple with how to deal with how to deal with Iran and North Korea.

Beijing has not yet acted on its threat to sanction U.S. companies involved in the arms sales to Taiwan, the self-ruled island that Beijing claims as part of its territory.

Last weekend, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said he wanted trade friction with the United States to ease.
