The national debt said to rise $9.2 trillion dollars over the next decade with Obama's plans for our future.
Pelosi's taxpayer funded liqueur bill for her tax payer funded airplane rides for her and staff and family were over $100,000. How could any liberal not agree the pigs are running the government? Oink!

Liberalproverbs18:2, any comments about how the polls show you are a member of a rapidly dwindling minority? At least one thing is growing for you and your co-hearts. This is your insignificance.

Wolf's Head said...

You will find that ALL of the forecasts for the national debt will be short by quite alot.

It might be a good idea for people to review what happened in Iceland, with the collapse of their banking system, the demand for repayment of their investment by the Brits and the Dutch, then the referendum in which the Icelanders voted 93% to tell the Brits and dutch to Eff Off, and their Prime Minister telling the Brits and Dutch they would repay it anyways.

That'll come to $15,000 for every Icelander after a drop of 30% of their disposable income since 2007. Sound familiar? It is a drop in the bucket to the debt the Obamites are racking up.

Here's an article on what happened.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100305/bs_nm/us_iceland

Just replace Iceland with "US", Britain and the Netherlands with "China and "Japan", and billions with "trillions" and you'll see our future.

Oh, and by the way LPOV, I thought you were too busy bashing this blog at the Watch to post here.

Got tired of their immature lunatic rantings did you?

Liberal POV said...

Wolf

No, your friends here wanted to experiment with censorship.
Hope your son is doing well, with all sincerity.

Wolf's Head said...

Censorship? I haven't been reading here much to see that, but I DO know that I have been censored here once before, when replying to a posting by an apparently mentally melted down Shyster.

And I have been censored at the Watch, by what appeared to be having my postings removed and apparently "banned" as there have been times I couldn't post there.

So what?

And my children are all doing very well, thank you, except for the youngest who didn't come home until 3 AM.

He is expected to recover full mobility sometime in the future.....

Liberal POV said...

Wolf

My own parenting strategy was to try to never fully catch my children doing the things most children do.

That way my expectation of good behavior always remained in place and if my children did go beyond the boundaries those boundaries remained in place.

My children are very responsible adults no drugs no addictions not even smoking, either it worked or I was lucky.

Wolf,

Lib's whining about my deleting a few of his post. It wasn't for his point of view or penetrating inquisition. It was because he was hijacking threads with incoherent, unrelated ramblings after I asked him nicely to stop. I'll do it again if need be but I wouldn't call it censorship. I'd call it quality control. He's obviously never been banned.

LiberalPOV seems to think there is a right to be heard. I'll leave it at that. "Pigs and Big Government" is a much better topic.

Liberal POV said...

Wolf

See we could have our last four post deleted for not following HD's rules.

Now this is big government. A commenter said they are now wanting to tax self-control. They're nuts and yes, pigs. Until someone stops these crazy people, well we'll just take what they dish out and not do anything about it...like I said, I'm just waiting for something to start. Anyone who supports this kind of behavior.....
You guys finish the rest of that sentence. Yep, big government and filthy pigs.

Can anyone say term limits for federal politicians? How about doing away with the pensions and premium government health care for these people? How about forcing them to use Medicaid? How about a pay cut that reimburses them at the average rate for a private employee? How about making taking or offering a bribe or peddling influence a capital offense with no possibility of pardon? Do you think any of these proposals might get it through their heads they are public servants, not public masters?

RT Sender said...

Aside from the personal benefits of public office, there are many politicians that believe that if only a centralized government can amass enough power and revenue , then they can accomplish a national nirvana by forcing the citizens to comply. History has proven again and again that this notion is false. With all its problems, individualism will always be better than collectivism. Power corrupts.

Apply your last comment to corporate giants and Wall Street who own the media and the political system.

How are you going to reform that?

guy faulkes said...

Liberalproverbs18:2, out of idle curiosity, how would you propose to control those corporations that control the biased left wing media such as NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, and the various print media that are going out of business due to falling readership? You have already indicated you do not trouble yourself to attempt to exert any control on the corporations in which you own stock through mutual funds.

How do you you suggest we get rid of people such as George Soros and the unions that own politicians such as Obama?

Maybe you do not want left wing corporations and unions controlled. If not, why do you support left wing political influence, but do not support conservative influence? Can you say hypocrisy? Other words for it are liberal or progressive.

I can, for the most part, pick the evil corporations and the greedy Wall Street investors, and media I want to deal with. (At least before Shawn Penn has them put in jail for calling Dictator Chavez a dictator)
Government... I can't. Freedom boy freedom, try and grasp the conception.

" Dictator Chavez a dictator)"

"Freedom boy freedom, try and grasp the conception."

Please explain how Mr Chavez is a dictator?

Mr. Chavez maybe many things but the last I heard he was freely elected.
Venezuela is the other model of continued corporate greed and theft.
This is what can happen in a free country with 80% of the population below the poverty level, When the greedy get greedier and reduce the middle class to 15-19.5% of the population with most all wealth in the to in the top 0.5%.

We in the United States are moving in the same direction with a decreasing middle class and increased poverty. That anger you see in the misinformed Tea Party movement could be the poor motivated and actually have something to be angry about.

Sarkazein said...

POV- Hitler was elected, some consider him a dictator. Stretch, and look at Chavez's actions like taking private property, closing down media, stopping citizens from selling their land, nationalizing oil companies and banks, backing narco terrorists with the poor Venezuelans money. He d i c t a t e s those orders against any constitution they may have. Mussolini was elected, it was how he was able to build toward a dictatorship. Chavez has done the same thing.
WHERE did you get the idea that if one is elected, they can not be a dictator?
Your Fidel is a dictator, but he claims re-election by 99% of the "vote. Sadaam claimed victory at 98% in his elections, still a dictator (was).
So Spicoli Junior, are you getting the idea?

Sarkazein said...

Whahahahat???

guy faulkes said...

Is she saying that if we pass it, someone will read it and expalin it to her?

guy faulkes said...

I received this on an email. It sounds like a good idea to me.

"Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes & the government distributes my taxes
as it sees fit.

In order to get that paycheck, in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem).

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't
have to pass a urine test.

So,
here is my question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a
welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their
feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their
BUTT----doing drugs while I work.

Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine
test to get a public assistance check?

I guess we could call the program "URINE OR YOU'RE OUT"!"

Liberal POV said...

Guy

That will cost the tax payers $50.00 per drug test, but the bright side is it will create thousands of jobs collecting urine.

Were you wanting to test once a week or once a month?

How about senior citizens and disabled on social security?

Children? At what age do you start? Suppose one parent is responsible and one is an addict like Rush?

We could spend another $1 billion dollars per month or a lot more depending on who you want to drug test.

I've never seen anyone lobby as hard as you for a police state.

You may find yourself in line with the people you like to demonize one day.

guy faulkes said...

I thought you were going to take care of health care costs with the reform bill that Obama is trying to ram through over the objections of the public. Are you saying these costs could not be borne?

Could drug tests be done in house at the offices where people apply for entitlements at a lesser cost? If the applicant is under the influence of drugs for medical reasons, could this not be noted in his file so that he could still receive benefits if he deserves them?

By the way what happens if a $50.00 fee exposes a drug addict that would have drawn %300.00 to from taxpayers with which to support his habit and the drug addict is denied? Was there a savings to the public?

Are you saying that requiring those that produce and work to take drug tests is not a police state, but that requiring those that receive entitlements to take the same test is? Interesting logic.

I would test randomly.

How about senior citizens and disabled on social security? How about them? What is your point?

Do you think drug addicts should be responsible for children? As Obama has admitted to using drugs and you seem to think that no one can recover from drug use (as per your continual comments about Rush), do you think Obama's children should be removed from his care?

Sarkazein said...

How many posts will go by before POV forgets he was flogged on his defense of Spicoli Sr and Chavez? How many days will go by until POV asks again, "How can you call Chavez a dictator when he was duly elected?"

Sarkazein said...

Guy Faulkes-

That's the way I see it. POV is writing that Obama can not recover from drug use. POV also describes Obama as a chicken hawk. So it is unanimous, Obama is a chicken hawk druggy. Thank you POV. I knew that before the election. POV voted for a chicken hawk druggy.
Guy, you have to keep in mind that POV was soundly beaten on these two points previously. But days had passed and those brain cells carrying those memories have long since died off. RIP.

That was about the best thrashing I have seen yet. Liberal Socialist Sheep POV has nothing to say. You answered his questions with great acumen and made some fine points in doing so. I am so impressed that I have to give you the proverbial "hat tip" which is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a fellow free thinker.

Liberal Socialist Sheep, you have really been outclassed this time. Your frustration must be at an all time high, commensurate with my satisfaction!!!! Great stuff - especially liked the point on Rush/Obama drug use and how LSS treats both cases so differently. I had never thought of it that way before, but you really brought the point home!!!

I am so impressed by Mr. Faulks that I will double post this.

You miss the point I make, Your kind of greed and extremism is how people like Chavez or right wing dictators like Hitler manage to come to power.

What was the life of the poor like before Chavez?

Right wing extremist like those here allow a fixed game where the rich get richer and the poor get ever poorer until something breaks as it has through out history.

All of those gated communities going up across American are not in the interest of a free people.

You people will not address the hard question of what do you think you want?

How will you pay for the wars you wanted in the past and will want in the future?

Our game allows everyone to become rich. It lets you go as far as you are willing to push yourself. It is the purveyors of redistribution through entitlements such as you that fix the game.

Wow, I thought all fascist/socialist/communist/autocratic leaders did so with government control in mind. Isn't this opposite of what conservatives have always wanted?

Liberal Socialist Sheep POV, if this is how you think, then how do you explain the left wanting to not recognize the 2nd Amendment which is what prevents dictators from gaining enough power to rule? Hiltler disarmed Germany and then killed 6 million Jews.

Hussein Obama, Clinton, Carter and you are of a like character - trying to disarm America and establish a socialist govt.

And what do you have to say (nothing I'm sure) about that?

This ought to be interesting.

WASHINGTON --- Hillary Rodham Clinton's State Department is spending $5.4 million to buy fine crystal stemware for American embassies -- but it won't give the US economy much of a boost.
The contract was given to a tiny Washington, DC, interior designer, which in turn subcontracted the crystal work to a Swedish firm -- snubbing such US companies as the famous manufacturer in Clinton's own back yard, Steuben Crystal of upstate Corning.///

From American companies or foreign companies, what's the difference? $5Million for glasses! PIGS!
