Pray for America Tonight

One large Christian group with thousands of members, sent me this today:

We are asking all of our members to pray in earnest, and for those who feel called to fast to do this for the resolution of the crisis over the pending healthcare legislation. We believe the passage of this legislation will create serious crises in the nation on a number of fronts, including constitutional issues, because of elements in the bill. Because of the manner in which congress is seeking to manipulate passage of the bill will even further exacerbate growing divisions in the nation that are already at dangerous levels.

1 - For America: Our past (repentance) and our future (seeking His will and ways)
2 - For our Leaders: At all levels - in secular and church government.
3 - Regarding the Healthcare Bill: For truth to be revealed and courage to be granted to our leaders to read it, to stand and vote with conviction, courage, and character.

I've been praying in earnest Blogger, for quite a long time. Hopefully tomorrow, before the vote, most people in church will also.

I have been praying too. This is very important - hopefully they won't find the votes and we can get America down the right path.

Don't you think the 35 million without health care in this country have also been praying for a compassionate nation? Don't you think these people have prayed for a nation that values fellow citizens over insurance profits?

How can you reader be confident you will never need assistance from a government health care program like the one being proposed?

Is you wealth so great that you could lose your health, and still have income to pay for health care insurance coverage? Your not like blogger who already has government health care coverage ,but fights to prevent others from having similar access to health care are you?

What you don't seem to understand Lib, I don't want Obama's health care package. He on the other hand, needs me to pay for it. I don't believe in abortions and that's a big reason I'm against it. Why would you think we aren't compassionate about the ones who don't have heath insurance? Are illegals included in this 35 million you speak about?

My wealth, what little I have, will be taken by Obama and his goons and be redistributed to you and others. You should be very joyful to hear this. I on the other hand am not joyful over this...I distribute it myself.

I prayed in church that the ones who are voting will have a change of heart. God is in charge...now we wait.

If God is willing, the fall of 2010 will come and then I'll get my hope and change.

You ducked the larger question.

Reader you could one day need liberals like me to see you were cared for by government funded Health care similar to what Blogger has now.

I'm not sure the next minute will come Lib. Like I said, I don't need the health care package you desire. Your large question was not so large.

Reader

Are you already on Medicare a government program you call socialism?

If Reader was not on Medicare, she may have no choice but to be now. Hopefully she is young enough and healthy enough not to be the victim of a death panel.

Okay Guys, how old do you think I am? For crying out loud.

Apologies Reader. I was under the impression now that the bill was rammed down our throats, you might have to forgo your private insurance and go with Medicare as you may end up having no other option than Medicare single payer. I understand that the age limit is going to be much lower. Of course, as no one knows what is in this new law, I could be wrong. It might be worse.

"Of course, as no one knows what is in this new law, I could be wrong."

That's what I've been trying to tell you what you think just ain't so.

The above is the most reasonable post you have made.

A year from now when the world doesn't end and you see you may do better with the Obama Health care bill you will still be complaining about something different.

You folks that watch Fox News and listen to Rush will need the Obama Health Care bill a lot sooner then those that don't stay angry all the time.

A year from now, Obama will be attempting to veto the repeal of this bill. He may not be able to do so as by this time it will be even less popular.

Thank you for admitting those on the let that voted for passage of this bill did not know what it contained and that they did so purely at the request of their socialist masters (if they were not socialists themselves).
