When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic. Benjamin Franklin

If Cullie Tarleton wins the next election, it is because of people thinking he can raid the treasury and bring the gold back to them. That isn't going to happen with the Dems no longer in control in Raleigh and it's very doubtful that they will gain control this election. Should Cullie get elected, he won't have much influence in the Republican legislature and with Governor Pat McCrory.

There is nothing on the leftist agenda Tarleton won't vote for.

His tenure in Raleigh was a constant looting of the treasury for left wing programs and social agendas.

Over 17% of income in Watauga county is from government programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment Benefits, etc.

Add to this total the salaries and benefits of all government employees - US, State, County and Local, - and you are talking about a significant portion of our economy that is funded by government.
