Isn't Deborah Greene going to be listed here?

I do not think she is a Republican.

No, Deborah is no longer registered as a Republican. She is an Independent.

She is running for the school board which is "non partisan".

Tim Wilson?

Ok. I didn't know Greene wasn't a Republican. Don't we have three commissioner candidates? Or are only two seats open this year?

It's clear the school board isn't really non-partisan. Otherwise the announcement "Meet the Republican Candidates" wouldn't include school board.

Tim Wilson was, or is, the third Republican candidate for the Watauga BOC.

He was arrested and charged with hit and run,and dui. Perhaps he has withdrawn his candicacy, I haven't heard.

Tim Wilson tendered his letter of resignation of his intent to run for the office of county commissioner on Thursday, March 22, 2012. The republican executive committee will now have to meet and see if they can find someone to fill the vacancy.

Mr Wilson did the only acceptable thing by not running. The decisions leading to his legal dilemma render him non electable at this point.

I am registered Unaffiliated. This is an event paid for by the Watauga County Republican Party. Since I am not a registered Republican, they would only include registered Republicans. Thank you for asking about me. And, I certainly hope that my record speaks for itself - I am a Conservative.
