Lincoln - Reagan Day..Republican Dinner

From Watauga Republican Party

Please join us for our annual Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner.

NC Supreme Court Justice Paul Newby will be our Keynote speaker.

Justice Newby is the only Supreme Court candidate running for re-election. His race will decide whether or not the NC Supreme Court stays conservative or turns liberal.

The dinner will be April 20th at the Dan'l Boone Inn, starting at 6:00pm. The cost is $20, which includes a famous Dan'l Boone Inn meal.

Please call Connie Baird at 964-0430 or email to register. We must give the restaurant a "head count" by April 15 and you will not be able to pay at the door.

I have met Justice Newby at a previous function. He is an interesting guy and one that conservatives will want to keep on the State Supreme Court!

An activist judge? Oops, forgot only liberal judges are activists right?

Justice Newby, he is a candidate to be on fire for and excited about. I have had the honor to meet Justice Newby and he is a true conservative in both word and action.

As a registered independent I will not be attending this function; maybe we he will speak at an independent venue so we too will have the opportunity to be inspired and energized.

If he is an activist judge, conservatives will not like him regardless of his decisions. Liberal's probably will if his decisions lean left.

Just a reminder.....make your reservations soon if you plan on attending.
