How We Won Midterms After All

Most of you have had time to digest the results of the elections. So are you ready now for the bright side?

We have the Senate. (I think that is only happened four times in history.) Holding the Senate is the crown jewel. Trump can continue appointing constitutionalists to the Federal Courts. Most of the Lefts devilment has come from these courts. We are free for a long long time into the future.

Also, the Republican Senate can block any mischief coming up from the House. Dems are now useless–left only to investigate, investigate–already they plan to destroy themselves just as did the Republicans impeaching Clinton. Impeachment is an exercise in futility.

BUT WHY WILL THEY IMPEACH, ETC ANYWAY? BECAUSE THEY CAN’T HELP THEMSELVES

A scorpion asks a frog to carry it across a river. The frog hesitates, afraid of being stung, but the scorpion argues that if it did so, they would both drown. Considering this, the frog agrees, but midway across the river the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, dooming them both. When the frog asks the scorpion why, the scorpion replies that it was IN HIS NATURE TO DO SO. Wikepedia

One thing the election has done is it has caused Democrats to call each other sexists and bigots. Sure it's true and Conservatives have known this for years, but it does the heart good to hear them publicly verify this. They all brag about being able to hear dog whistles. They are now, according to them, blowing dog whistles at each other. Hopefully they will all hyper-ventilate and pass out at the alter of political correctness and liberalspeak.

NC Republicans must be humiliated after being caught in a major election fraud scandal. The NC Republicans used the term “Voter Fraud” to get a voter suppression laws to suppress voting rights of mostly none Republican Voters. Freedom and Democracy does seem to favor Republicans but Oligarchy does.

If Republicans violated election laws, they should be dealt with to eh full extent of the law. Absentee ballots are prime opportunities for fraud by both parties. Another prune opportunity for election law abuse is when college students do not change their address on their driver;s licensee to be the same as the place where they are claiming residence as required by law. Thsi would affect their ability to use their parents insurance and maybe their financial aid. Fraud of one kind or the other is inevitable.

Courts have ruled students are not required to change their NC Drivers license and there’s no evidence this is a problem in need of a solution. It’s hard enough to get more than 20% of young people of any political party to vote. The Republicans nationally are attacking representative government. Now in Wisconsin and Michigan like earlier in North Carolina Gerrymandered Republican State Representatives are undermining the election results by changing the political power of newly elected Governors and Attorney General over riding the will of the citizens.
Notice how suddenly quite NC Republicans are about actual voter fraud.

If they ruled that students do not have to change their addresses on their driver's license to vote, what t did they say about defrauding the endurance companies? If this is true, it needs to be appealed. Please post a link to these cases. I will try to find them when I have time.

The only thing I have found comes from a group called STUDENTS Legal Serveries.

"Students should apply for a North Carolina license so that they may avoid any problems that could arise as a result of this ambiguity, as well as for identification purposes.

For a student to obtain a NC Driver’s License, you must provide proof of identification, residency, liability insurance on the car and legal presence:

1. Show Proof of Identity through two forms of identification such as: Passport, with valid visa date and I-94 card. I-20 for F-1 & F-2; DS-2019 for J-1 & J-2; I-797 for H-1 & H-4. Social Security Card.

2. Show Proof of Residency by showing an original (not a photocopy) utility bill, or bank statement addressed to you at a street address (not a PO box number), or your signed lease agreement for a local house/apartment, or your school records.

3. Show Proof of Automobile Liability Insurance by showing Form DL123 issued by your auto insurance agent, or an original liability insurance policy binder, or an insurance card with your name, policy number, issuance and expiration date. The UNC International Student and Scholar Services’ address what you should do in the event that you do not own a car and therefore do not have insurance. Please refer to What if You Do Not Own a Car on their page for more information.

4. Show proof of the ability to see, drive, and have knowledge of the rules of driving in NC by taking a four part test that includes a written portion, sign recognition, driving and vision test."

This seems to indicate that students should change their driver's licensees. Please supply links to support your claim.

Guy, you’ve just spent a great deal of time addressing a nonexisting problem to avoid a real North Carolina election fraud by a NC Republican Congressman and the BC Republican Party.

guy faulkes said...

Nonymouse, you need c;asses in reading comprehension. I specifically said that Republicans need to face the consequences if they violated election laws.

I also asked you politely twice to provide support for your claim that courts had decided that students did not need to update their driver's license. Do you have any or not?

Also, all you have is a charge not a conviction.

Should say classes.

Guy,

This is from the NC Board of Elections and it says nothing about NC Drivers license or want address maybe on the unmentioned Driver’s license.
Republicans have been caught in election fraud and no one in the Republican Party locally or Nationally is condemning this criminal attack on America’s election process.
“To register to vote in North Carolina, a prospective voter must meet all of the following qualifications:

Must be a citizen of the United States.
Must live in the county of his/her registration, and have resided there for at least 30 days prior to the date of the election.
Must be at least 18 years old. A prospective voter can submit a registration form up to two years before his/her 18th birthday, if and only if he/she will be 18 at the time of the next general election.
Must not be serving a sentence for a felony conviction (including probation or parole). If a prospective voter has previously been convicted of a felony, his/her citizenship rights must be restored. For more information on voting rights for those in the North Carolina criminal justice system, click here.
Must rescind any previous registration in any other county or state. ”

The point is that the law concerning changing your address on your driver's license is being ignored. This makes it very likely that fraud is being perpetrated on insurance companies and possibly financial aid forms. In any case, you still have not been able to supply a link to your alleged court cases. "Must rescind any previous registration in any other county or state"

We have a very well documented case of election fraud paid for by the Republican Party and the Republican Candidate for US Congress in NC and NC Republicans are absolutely silent or claiming it never happened despite all of the documented evidence.

guy faulkes said...

If the case is tried and it is found someone is guilty of voter fraud then they should be punished. So far this has not happened. The presumption of innocence is paramount to our legal system. It is for this reason that I was interested in your post claiming courts had ruled that students do not have to change their drivers license to vote. They in fact do not because they can file a provisional ballet. The problem appears to me to be one of the law concerning changing the addressees on driver;s licenses being ignored, apparently because it allows for fraud in other areas. Filing a provision ballot would bring attention to the situation.

I am still waiting for a link to a court case supporting your statement. If you do not have one, just say you were mistaken.

Guy,

Here are recent court decisions were the courts after hearing all factual evidence rules against Conservatives and the Republicans.

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/07/north-carolina-voting-rights-law/493649/

"DURHAM, N.C.—The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals struck down key portions of North Carolina’s strict 2013 voting law on Friday, delivering a stern rebuke to the state’s Republican General Assembly and Governor Pat McCrory. The three-judge panel in Richmond, Virginia, unanimously concluded that the law was racially discriminatory, and it blocked a requirement that voters show photo identification to vote and restored same-day voter registration, a week of early voting, pre-registration for teenagers, and out-of-precinct voting.

Guy,

More proof of NC Republicans intentionally denying citizens their constitutional rights to representative government.

Gerrymandering is a receipt for corruption regardless of who's doing it.

"The justices upheld an August 2016 ruling by the three-judge panel that the districts were racial “gerrymanders,” with boundaries drawn to diminish the voting power of minorities, and violated the U.S. Constitution’s guarantee of equal protection under the law. The lower court found that the Republican-led state legislature had crammed black voters into a limited number of districts in order to lessen their statewide electoral power."

Where do these cases address your claim that students do not have to update their driver's licensee?

"The presumption of innocence is paramount to our legal system. "

Except when it applies to Hillary Clinton, or Democrats.

The links show a pattern Un constitutional behavior by Conservatives as they try to undermine the institutions of Freedom and representative government. Todays conservatives are supporting tyrants, gerrymandering, incompetence , authoritarianism, oligarchs, racism, demagoguery, injustice, torture, theocracy, corruption and the Russian government.

No one has said anything about Hilary in this thread....but you. As for other threads, there is a lot of evidence of wrong doing on her part. One is entitled to his opinion as long as he stales it is an opinion and does not make unsupported claims. I must assume you were once gain blowing smoke and there are no court cases saying students do not need to update their driver's licensees. Refusing to provided a link or admit your error calls into question on statement you make.

Guy,

You ask for proof of the Conservatives agenda lacking decency, ethics, kindness and vision.
“Both 41 and 43 and Mrs Bush were too kind at heart and too gentle to publicly fight back.
My point is- we now have the opposite of a kinder and gentler man as President. And that is now what is needed to fight the Marxist thugs who have taken over the Democrat Party and a huge part of today's society. ”

It might be they did not wish to fight back. If so it was because they were establishment Liberal light. It is all opinion.

If you’re arguing the Bush Family practiced the same cruel, racist, corrupt, incompetent, unethical, demagoguery as the Trump Administration, why did the Bush Family order the Trump Family to stay away from Barbara Bush’s funeral as to sit quietly at President Bush’s Funeral?

Do any of you believe Trump will find competent staff for his Administration or his legal defense team. Do you believe Trump will learn how to be presidential? Mueller’s team will continues to expose Trump’s criminal behavior, felony crimes, Russian connection, money laundering, tax evasion, corruption, greed obuse of power, incompetence and obstruction of justice. John Kelly, Trump’s most competent baby sitter is leaving, expect Trump to embarrass his naive followers on a hourly basis.
