Trump Was a Disastrous (Fake) Conservative

This blog is Conservative, not stupid. No matter how we slice it, the Trump presidency was one of unabashed and flagrant nepotism, autocracy, and authoritarianism

The national debt ballooned. (Despite the promise to eliminate it)

The stock market sagged. (Despite the promise of the best "business man")

Gun rights have been restricted. (Despite the promise to fully support the 2nd Amendment)

The pandemic highlighted non-existent leadership ability. (Despite claims of unfaltering leadership acumen)

Civil unrest protesting against frequent uses of unnecessary force was met with even greater shows of force

We are losing international allies while cozying-up to despots.

The level of basic and coherent discourse is at an all-time low.

How has Trump restricted our gun rights?

After the litany of offenses listed, Inquiring Mind demanding proof (which was linked btw) of a singular issue is like a battered wife saying, "no, he's really great except for all the lies."

Holy hell, just leave Trump by the wayside and move on. He has irreparably damaged the conservative movement and we should all take stock, coalesce, and move forward without this damaged visage.

Hawley Concerned That Being a Coward Is Overshadowing His Work as a Fascist

From The New Yorker WASHINGTON ( The Borowitz Report )—Senator Josh Hawley is “deeply concerned” that his newfound national reputation for cowardice is overshadowing his commitment to end democracy. “People see one video of me fleeing like a terrified bunny, and they think that’s all there is to me,” Hawley told reporters at a press conference. “They’re totally forgetting that I’m also a guy who tried to overturn a free and fair election.” Hawley admitted that, although it is tempting to stereotype him as “a guy who was scared shitless of a mob he had egged on earlier in the day, that’s just one side of me. What about the side of me that wantonly subverts democracy? That should count for something.” “People are focussing on the totally chickenshit Josh Hawley and ignoring the lusting-for-autocracy Josh Hawley,” he complained. Hawley’s press conference was cut short after a reporter asked a question and the senator ran away.

Sedition

Following the January 6th attack on the Capitol, the seditionists have gone into deep hiding!  Blogger, Sark, Guy, Wolf, and the rest have sunk their heads down in the hopes that we will overlook their multi-year cooperation in this anti-American farce that is Trump-ism.  Even the the aptly-named "Nobody" who attempted a competing blog following our departure from racism/fascism/authoritarianism has deleted  her own content after the coup d'etat. (Note that "Nobody" is the reason why we are moderating comments for racist and fascist content...probably explains the blog deletion).  Hear it here and hear it loud - fascism and authoritarianism are not welcome here.

Coup D'Etat and Treason

What we saw on Wednesday was the logical result of years of incoherent ramblings from an unhinged and incompetent President. Trump stoked and prodded his own army of imbeciles to storm the Capitol, resulting in multiple charges of terrorism.  One such imbecile described his own participation as religious, saying : "'Lord, is this the right thing to do? Is this what I need to do?' He says he felt God's hand on his back, pushing him forward." Sound familiar? Blogger and his deranged ilk have spouted similar "God told me so" ramblings for years.  Is it any wonder that Blogger, Sark, Guy, Wolf, etc. no longer contribute to this blog? They finally understand their role in this insanity. They finally understand the consequences of their stupidity.  Blogger et al. are culpable and they know it.
